@TheSunMagazine I was worried that all I ever have are the beginnings of everything (which turned out was already a title to a book) and a writer friend said: just own that. Since then, I’ve been proud to say flash fiction is my love. A slice is a slice is a slice.

@LoebDavon Romancing the Stone. Not because I wanted to write romance novels, but definitely because she celebrated finishing a novel by treating her cat to a can of tuna with a sprig of parsley on top. As a published author now, I have yet to give tuna to Lizzo Lemon, but maybe someday

After you receive an acceptance to a literary journal (or whatever your fav platform is)-how long does the “high” last for you and do you have a good descriptive word you use? The time after initial acceptance used to last for WEEKS, even MONTHS. It’s getting shorter now. #writer
