@natebridges51 In your country nothing (legally and politically) ever happens without lots of delays, bickering and appeals. There's no way the Clarity Act will be an exception.
As many know, I’ve been very critical of President Trump. In fact, I challenge anyone to find a Republican Nominee or Candidate for federal office who’s been as independent as I have.
I literally said “F the Republican Party - F the Democrat Party” during a debate 🆚 @sethmoulton.
Shortly after I announced I was running for U.S. Senate against @EdMarkey, I was interviewed by @kelleratlarge and I said, especially as someone who’s fought for regulatory clarity involving digital assets, including suing the @SECGov on behalf of retail investors, that I hated the Trump Meme coin (and all Meme coins for that matter), and that I absolutely hated the fact that the President and his family was getting heavily involved into Crypto - not just because of perceived conflicts of interests and appearances of impropriety but because it would make Crypto a partisan issue. Of course, according to @EricTrump, he and his family embraced Crypto because they were debanked by TradFi. We know Chokepoint 2.0 was real, so Eric’s claims can’t be easily dismissed.
I knew the partisanship would happen because we have elected officials including @EdMarkey and @sethmoulton who simply:
HATE DONALD TRUMP MORE THAN THEY LOVE AMERICA.
@dmweisberger👇= 🎯
For 10 years in Crypto we’ve seen chaos, fraud, collapse, and bankruptcies. And finally, we have a chance to end the uncertainty and chaos.
Why would Democrats prevent clarity for the rest of America’s investors, businesses and entrepreneurs?
If your argument is because it might enrich Trump and his family, it’s been reported that Trump himself has made $1.4 billion dollars off crypto already.
So, let me get this straight:
You’re going to prevent America from securing the lead in the world related to financial innovation to prevent something that has already occurred?
That makes perfect sense - in Washington.
As Dave states:
“The right approach is to propose a Bill that covers Crypto, Securities, [commodities], Derivatives & Prediction markets uniformly, for the executive AND legislative branches.”
Yet, Congress still hasn’t ended insider trading related to the stock market. And they wonder why they have an approval rating of like 12%.
My Washington Clean Hands Act will end all the grift. In the meantime, maybe put America’s interests first.
När insikten når dem s.a.s.
@coinbureau@DigPerspectives It's hard to find clearer proof that politicians have become the new nobility. They don't give a damn about what is good or bad for the people. It's all about their own benefits & hindering political opponents, nothing else.
China says: "Thanx"
@Coachjv_ .....my personal assessment of you is clear (positive). Swearing children in the comment section are just insignificant & annoying little flies. You choose your own path in life and who you want to listen to.....period!
Let's Go!
@Coachjv_ I feel that it takes a certain level of maturity & life experience to absorb what you are saying. I am +50 myself & have spent most of my professional life in roles where I have analyzed people in terms of safety, employability, competence, honesty, drive, dangerousness, etc. 1/2
@Coachjv_ It is undeniably fascinating to follow social med. when you realize that you are witnessing a Kafkaesque Cacophony of opinions. Like a enormous hall of mental pat. academics, blue collars, politicians, psychopaths, pubescents, psychotics, influenc. where no one listens only talks
