KNF AND KRA UNDER SoO ARE REPORTEDLY ATTACKING NAGA FARMERS

The reported attack on Naga farmers while working in their fields between Thanamba and Makui Ashang is deeply alarming and must not be ignored.

Farmers went to their fields to earn their livelihood, not to engage in conflict. If KNF and KRA cadres operating under the Suspension of Operations (SoO) were involved in the attack, the Government must immediately investigate the incident and establish accountability.

What is the purpose of the SoO ground rules if farmers and civilians are still being attacked?

We demand that the Government enforce the SoO ground rules without fear or favour, protect farmers and villages, and take appropriate action against anyone found responsible.

Our farmers have the right to work their land without fear.

Our villages have the right to security.

And every violation must have consequences.

Punishment for Cruelty

2. Offenders can face up to 3 years in prison or a fine of ₹1 lakh, or both.
3. If the child suffers serious physical or mental harm, punishment can be up to 10 years in prison and a fine of ₹5 lakh.

Remember: _Every child deserves love, care, and protection. Cruelty against children is a crime. Report it and stop it. A society that shows no mercy to its children has lost its humanity.
