@jsketch12 i havent been playing much champions i'm struggling to make my boy mega dragonite work and im overthinking it wayyyy too much lmao
(i got a trick room mega slowbro team thats gotten me to ultra ball but i like playin with other ideas)
@Primal_Lazuli it's a bit of a long process but id say its worth it if you're wanting to evolve your style. big thing to remember is to keep at it, your current style is already amazing and if you want to evolve further id love to see how your style evolves into one that you feel is more you
@Primal_Lazuli nah you're completely valid for that, i'd say keep up the experimentation (if you want to). not sure how much itd help but it's what i did myself, i used to just ape other art styles until i understood what was satisfying for me personally and used that to get how i draw now+
@ToxicWeave ngl as a Unova shill who's been irritated at GF actively ignoring Unova's existance for as long as they have, I'm content with how much they've been giving Gen 5 in recent years. Hell they even went and gave my boy Scrafty a mega out of nowhere in Z-A, I'm still floored by that
@IKAT1724 ngl im a lil torn on the fact they're doing Legends again, like on one hand, Legends Retold looks really good and seems to be a love letter to the series as a whole. On the other, Legends has been the only major Rayman game they've done anything with for over a decade now
uhhh felt like makin a more dedicate ref sheet for mango this morning, not the trainer version of him but the actual MANGO mango if you know what i mean
also some lil lore bits about him i guess? idunno take him or leave him i guess lmao
Mechanically, Terastal wins best gimmick hands-down. It works not just as an offensive strat but works defensively too, and EVERY Pokemon can benefit from it in one way or another.
But if we're talking hype moments and aura with a raw power trip? Mega Evolution, EASILY.
@Goatdorah07 funnily enough i feel the exact opposite, since significantly fewer pokemon have access to megas, while tera can be used by any mon, both for defense and offense. Though granted i do get like Tera Fire Specs Chi-Yu or Tera Steel Make it Rain feels that way
@OomBlinx that said though i do still prefer Tera mechanically due to the level of strategizing within your own teams and with how much more flexible it is to work with as every mon can use it.
though yeah even without ever having played SV ladder i understand the stressful guesswork
@OomBlinx ahh yeah no that's valid, especially if you're running closed team sheets, i could only imagine how people would be racking their brain over which mon is the tera and which type it'll tera to+
@kantozard that said i don't blame you at all if you're unable to get your hands on any of these games with how stupid resale prices are, took me YEARS to find a copy of SoulSilver I could AFFORD
@kantozard ... USUM is the last game in the entire series to allow you to use/transfer in every existing pokemon at the point of its release
XY is a charming experience, though i do feel kinda bad for it with how it was essentially left unfinished and they just sped along to ORAS and SM
