If the Constitution was amended to prohibit gun possession, as many countries of the world do, the buybacks would be fantastic as citizens would be required to sell them back or give them over to a disposal center.

@the_jezza @Tom_Duggan11 @bgyako @CNN I think any resolution to get rid of guns would mandate a disposal of all firearms. Maybe even a buyback from the government to help facilitate the process. Either way, it’d be better than the gun culture we currently live in.

@genXer71 @CNN Nothing is stricter than having to pay insurance for something. Look at car insurance, home owner insurance, renter’s insurance, etc. It should be like a car, you can’t take any purchased gun home with you without insuring it. Guns should be VERY expensive to own. Just as a car.
