@aliceajmv@SatiarShah The point was New Jersey didn't have the cap space to afford Quinn. He's going to be worth a lot more than his current salary once he becomes a UFA. I also find it difficult to believe Minnesota won't do what they can to sign him.
@HarperRausch@mferreriptbokaw Are you taking Michael Ma's word on it? Google searches indicate the opposite, the constituents aren't happy and are calling for him to resign.
You're right that he works for his constituents, and they voted for him because he was a Conservative.
@storywriter_ca@mferreriptbokaw Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Damien Kurek offered his resignation, whereas Carney forced Chandra Arya out and stole his riding.
But that doesn't suit your narrative, so you will use whatever mental gymnastics to make it seem like Carney isn't a weasel.
@HarperRausch@mferreriptbokaw Yes, and the constituents voted for a Conservative, while your hysterical "far right" proclamation betrays your own lack of understanding.
@janosch_ortmann@mferreriptbokaw Allow me to educate you on what happens in a first past the post system with more than two parties. It is very common for candidates to win with less than 50% of the vote, as the candidate with the most votes wins.
It's a flawed system, but it's not that complicated.
@CharleneVantyg1@mferreriptbokaw It doesn't matter which party is involved, floor crossing should be abolished. If MPs don't want to be part of the party they were elected to anymore, they should either resign outright, or sit as independents until the next election.
It is obvious that people are attacking Pierre Poilievre because they know that, with him at the lead, the Conservatives have their best shot at taking down the Liberals in the next election.
Once people realize Carney hasn't delivered for Canada, it will be over for him.
@MoiraPotter11@Mikeggibbs If you think Poilievre is "Trump-like," then you haven't been paying close enough attention. Trust me, if Poilievre had the stink of Trump, there would be no way I would support the CPC.
Possibly because Kurek's decision to step aside triggered a by-election, so the voters had a choice. Neither D'Entremont nor Ma gave their constituents the opportunity to decide whether they wanted them as Liberals or not.
@Mikeggibbs Conservatives, explain how D'Etremont and Ma crossing the floor is "manipulating democracy" but Kurek stepping aside to let PP run in a by-election isn't. #cdnpoli
@liberal_party I'm sorry, but after the division caused by Justin Trudeau during covid, how can the Liberal party have the gall to claim that it is Poilievre who has "politics of division."
I can't even say the lack of awareness is shocking.
@OlenaRohoza No.
One deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for doing what is right and NOT expecting a reward in return. No matter what influence he has had in deescalating some conflicts, challenging the sovereignty of Panama, Greenland and Canada disqualifies him.
@GodlyNations No, definitely not.
Considering "Islam" means "submission" or "surrender," that should tell you everything you need to know about the cult.
