-The decision to celebrate youth day here at Magamba is significant and we must applaud and be happy.
As the name implies, Magamba, means girls and boys dedicated to work and make sacrifices for their country. The choice of venue is in line with devolution and decentralization of events.
-We are oncourse im achieving #Vision2030.
-We will continue to invest in vocational training centres and ensure that these are accessible, inclusive and inline with today's generation.
-we are pleased that our youth can match with any youth across the continent, and moreso, excell as the best.
-I commend the empowerment forums as they nurture the youth to be patriotic about their country, hardworking and disciplined. To our youth, congratulations.
-Our young people deserve positions at the seat of governance and economy. You are dependable development partners as we march towards realisation of #Vision2030.
-I am going to create positions for you so that you learn and embrace knowledge from your elders as you grow up.
-It is the duty of the whole society to ensure that our young people reach their full potential. They need our support.
-I say to our youth and their leadership, your focus and dedication is commendable.
-I was impressed to note that VTCs are now producing crops for both local and export markets.
-Our young entrepreneurs should intentionally acquire requisite business knowledge to access broader markets. I challenge our youth to develop cross-border networks and create enterprises that contribute to the economic development of our nation and the African continent at large.
-My Minister of Youth is directed to accelerate the pace of capacitating vocational centres nationwide.
-District youth business centres are being established to promote entrepreneurship among young people. Our private sector, including large corporates should play their part towards developing synergies for youth development and empowerment.
-We must continue to fight against Drug and Substance Abuse for the benefit of our children. I challenge you young people to lead this fight from your schools. I encourage you to shun vices such as corruption which undermine the values of hardwork and integrity. Quick money goes away quickly.
-Thank you for coming out in your numbers. Let us all work together for the growth and development of our country, in peace and unity. The Province has done well in mobilising, I hope other provinces emulate.
