@clement_molin It's true the current conflict is not representative of how a war between NATO and Russia would be fought. Ukraine does not have anywhere near the amount of air or naval assets of NATO. This changes strategy and tactics immensely.
@MarkHeath45 Thank you for sticking up for poor little Russia! Russia is so likkle and is being bullied! Nasty Britain and NATO just keep on bullying Russia. They had NO CHOICE! They HAD to invade Ukraine and get 600,000 eastern europeans killed. YOU'RE A HERO MARK.
The Gaza genocide isn’t over: “ Fake US thinktank set up and funded by Israel sought to game AI for propaganda. In effort to prime chatbots to make pro-Israel arguments the site published 124 reports, over 560,000 words in nine days — Guardian analysis” https://t.co/GLhLoTMBnJ
@AlfaEcojx10@demystifysci Unfortunately, given enough time, all land will be swallowed back into the earth and recycled under unimaginable pressure and heat.
@edwardlucas You know those train derailments happened just after Russia threatened consequences for the shadow fleet ship seizure. The threat was on the 12th of August and the first train derailed on the 13th, followed by another on the 14th.
I do not believe heat was to blame.
@JohnSmithwy3b@wakenminds It's made of sandstone. Sandstone is one of the easiest rocks to shape, cut and split. The techniques do not require complex tools and are available to watch on youtube.
@OwenBenjamin Do you honestly believe there is something to those giant pre-flood trees and petrified dinosaurs posts you retweeted? And the ancient structure one. To me that's just schizo posting at it's finest, and I don't believe you're incapable of seeing that.
@MarkHeath45 Are you on Putin's payroll or are you just plain ignorant? They call for Britain to be destroyed by nuclear blasts, nuclear tidal waves, or any other form of destruction almost on a daily basis, and we have not once said anything similar.
Open your eyes.
The Iranians will likely respond to the sanctions by attacking our bases and/or ships in the region.
The Iranian hardliners prefer a military conflict because they believe striking us is their only true deterrent & a kinetic war keeps their people rallied around the regime.
We should deprive them of this option by pulling our troops from the region.
Pulling our troops out limits our risk & provides the sanctions the time to have their desired effect.
This will also allow President Trump to say he won the military fight, now it’s all economic/diplomatic and the war can slowly fade from the daily news cycle.
Once that happens a quiet arrangement can be made to get the oil flowing from the SOH ahead of the elections in November.
But the sanctions won’t work if we get sucked back into an escalation cycle— break the escalation trap by pulling our troops out.
@sneako They have agency to work hard and and the resources needed leave their shitholes, but they don't because they are influenced by a toxic, self-reinforcing culture and told it's okay.
