BEFORE SLEEPING KNOW THIS...
FOR 15 YEARS, while most people escaped the summer heat, Harpal Singh Pali drove a tractor-tanker deep into the burning Shivalik Hills every alternate day carrying WATER for wild animals. As lakes dried and forests cracked under extreme heat, deer, wild boars, blue bulls, and peacocks began waiting for one sound — the arrival of his tractor.
Using his OWN MONEY, without donations or government support, Pali created and refilled 25 water holes across nearly 5 kilometres of forest so animals would not enter villages searching for water. Fuel prices increased. Maintenance costs rose. Still, he never stopped. He even dedicates 10% of his income to wildlife welfare.
In the last 2 years, an Upper Middle Class Indian has lost at least 30% of his/her wealth.
Reason: due to currency depreciation & poor investment returns.
The claim might look exaggerated. But, trust me it is not. Ask your friends, relatives, who are NRIs. Compare their wealth growth vs yours'.
You will get the real facts.
The upper middle class is a very neglected community.
They pay Sweden level taxes for Sudan level services.
And, are now quietly seeing their wealth erode.

Thank you Vinesh for giving everything on the mat. Unbelievable after 2 years out of competition, giving birth to a child a few months ago & still competing this well.

The obsession with breaking records has successfully turned the fragile Himalayas into the world's longest PARKING LOT. Joshimath is currently choking under a massive 25-30 KM long traffic jam. From Vishnuprayag to 15 km beyond, tourists are stuck in their cars for hours.
Replug of this byte from an interview with a NEET student from 2024 because nothing has changed in 2026. If you have a minute, listen to her. She speaks where many keep quiet. #NEET#CBSE#DharmendraPradhan#Education

Desert cities are now cooler than many Indian cities.
This is not just climate change.
It is also years of poor urban planning, endless concrete expansion, disappearing trees, and zero focus on livable cities.
And still 18% GST on ACs.
Is India’s economic challenge really just about policies or is it about the people making them?
In this conversation, we dive into a deeper structural concern: the credibility, composition, and continuity of India’s economic decision-making system. From ministers and bureaucrats to advisors and technocrats, the discussion raises a critical question: Does India need a change in personnel to restore trust, signal clarity, and rebuild investor confidence?
The argument goes beyond reform on paper. It’s about how markets respond to credibility, why signaling matters in modern economics, and how stagnation in decision-making can create “staleness” in ideas, institutions, and outcomes.

If the onus to ensure that OMCs don't go in losses is on the public, then the profitability of OMCs should also be at public discretion.
You can't punish the public both ways.
Look at the profits of India's three major OMCs - IOCL, BPCL & HPCL.
They posted a combined net profit of over ₹2.3 lakh crore (approx. $28 billion USD) across the last five fiscal years (FY21 to FY25).
When they had profits of lacs of crores in 5 years, why can't they sustain losses for an year?
