I had once rejoiced, gradually, I became unmoved by the world. And now! All I have left is an expressionless face, my gaze is as tough as a monolith, only perseverance remains in my heart.
I had once screamed, gradually, I lost my voice. I had once cried, gradually, I lost my tears. I had once grieved, gradually, I became able to withstand everything.
Lower standards don't bring peace.
They bring tolerance for mediocrity. When you accept less, you train the world to offer less.
Those who complain about standards usually benefit from you having none.
Why would insults matter to me? Insults were insults, what could they do? A superficial person would be angry due to curses and would be happy due to praises.
@EvanWritesOnX He is just to superficial, not considering, changing incentive structures of global players behind those states, he just focuses on the states facades alone and is stuck in static policies which they used in the past.
In their eyes, you no longer exist. Killing you would change nothing.
You aren’t even considered a pawn because of your insignificance.
You're likely the slave to one of their pawns, herded together with the rest of the cattle and managed by those they might deem useful.
Know the game you’re playing, the options you’re choosing from, and the information asymmetry created by others’ signaling or deception.
Outsource, delegate, and let other players do the dirty work for you. Make them dependent on you while keeping your options open.

Know the players in the game.
Understand their value, status within the hierarchy, weaknesses, incentives, habits, and values to be able to
Befriend (through mirroring) the most useful players. Avoid making enemies unnecessarily.
Signaling can increase your perceived value in the eyes of other players and, therefore, their receptiveness to your attempts.
Make things appear effortless. Appear well-connected.
Appear valuable.
And strive to embody all those attributes.
