RATIONALISATION OF GOV'T EXPENDITURE:
The PSST Dr @rggoobi has said that effective next FY 2026/27, @GovUganda will not spend money on organising public functions (public holidays) including: Women's day,Labour day,Independence day etc). He says money will only be spent on the few religious functions.

According to Dr.Ggoobi,H.E the President @KagutaMuseveni will address Ugandans on Radio and Television from State House,adding that the money saved will be used to finance the priorities of Gov't (ATMS & Enablers).

INDUCTION OF NEW MOFPED STAFF:

The PSST @rggoobi has urged the newly recruited staff to apply technical competences in the execution of their work and also embrace the values and ethical standards of public service: discipline,integrity,accountability,diligence,teamwork,professionalism & confidentiality.

The PSST made the remarks at the closing of the induction for the newly recruited Economists, Accountants, Statisticians, Internal Auditors, Procurement Officers, Inventory Management Officers and Microfinance Officers at @mofpedU

"Before you do anything,always ask yourself: Does what I'm going to do safeguard public resources and advance the collective welfare of the citizens of Uganda?" cautioned the PSST.

He also urged them to work collaboratively across Directorates,Departments and Units,adding that they should support one another and keep public interest at the centre of their decisions.

Those asking why I didn’t submit an expression of interest letter for the Speakership to the NRM Electoral Commission should know that I submitted my expression of interest to President @KagutaMuseveni, the @NRMOnline National Chairman. I can confirm that the letter reached because I got a call to that effect from the Principal Private Secretary to the President. Going to Kyadondo Road would be unnecessary drama. It would also be seen as blackmail - something I do not believe in.

I did apply for a replacement of a lost ID in August last year now coming to 6 months without any progress, kindly advise on how long one takes to get an ID replacement.
