ED, Jaipur Zonal Office has arrested Mohammed Sadeeque alias Sadik Khan, former President of the Alfurkan Educational Trust (AET), Bikaner, under PMLA, 2002 for his involvement in the offence of money laundering arising out of systematic diversion of public donations, extensive cash-based criminal activities, suspicious foreign associations, and conduct indicative of radicalisation and involvement in unlawful networks. The Hon’ble Special Court, Jaipur, has granted ED Custody of Mohammed Sadeeque for a period of 3 days (till 06.12.2025) for further investigation.

What an absolute honor to meet and interact with the bright officer trainees at the National Academy of Direct Taxes!

NADT is the citadel of India’s tax policy, every income tax officer begins their journey here. My father-in-law trained here as part of the 46th batch from 1991 to 1993, and three decades later, he retired as one of the most respected officers in the service. It was truly special to walk the same campus and meet some of his batchmates who’ve served the nation with such distinction.

To every trainee I had the pleasure of meeting—thank you for your warmth, energy, and thoughtful questions. And of course, the real MVP of the evening? Moolchandji (if you know, you know 😂)… and his overflowing blessings! 🙏😂
