Booked an @AkasaAir ticket via @agoda and accidentally selected Navi Mumbai instead of Mumbai.

Tried cancelling via Agoda - they showed a cancellation fee of ₹4,764 and refund of just ₹1,571.

Then I checked directly with Akasa Air.

Akasa Air’s own cancellation page shows:
• Total deduction: ₹299
• Refund amount: ₹6,076

Akasa customer care also confirmed the airline cancellation charge is only ₹299, and since the booking was made through Agoda, the refund would go back to Agoda.

So the obvious question:

If the airline is deducting only ₹299, why is Agoda charging me ₹4,764?

That’s an extra ₹4,465 for what exactly?

Charging 15x the airline’s actual cancellation fee for the same ticket feels completely unethical.

वीडियो बनाने वाले व्यक्ति का नाम नरेंद्र तोमर है। यह घटना नासिक हाईवे पर स्थित एक ढाबे की है, जहाँ वे खाना खाने गए थे। ढाबे में 4 रोटियाँ और आधी प्लेट सब्ज़ी ₹180 में दी जा रही थी। खाना महँगा लगने पर नरेंद्र तोमर ने जानकारी देने के लिए वीडियो बनाना शुरू किया।

वीडियो बनते ही ढाबा संचालक (बाबा) और वहाँ मौजूद कर्मचारियों ने गुस्से में आकर उनके साथ मारपीट की और मोबाइल छीनने की कोशिश की। पूरी घटना वीडियो में साफ़ देखी जा सकती है।

यह ढाबा मुंबई के भिवंडी-पड़गा क्षेत्र, समृद्धि हाईवे के पास स्थित “पंजाबी खालसा होटल” की है। अतः @MumbaiPolice से अनुरोध है कि इस गंभीर मामले का संज्ञान लेकर दोषियों के ख़िलाफ़ सख़्त कार्रवाई की जाए।

बाराबंकी टोल प्लाज़ा पर दुर्व्यवहार मामले में एनएचएआई की बड़ी कार्रवाई। यूज़र शुल्क संग्रहण एजेंसी का अनुबंध समाप्त, ₹5.3 करोड़ की बैंक गारंटी जब्त।

बाराबंकी के बारा फी टोल प्लाज़ा पर अधिवक्ता के साथ कथित दुर्व्यवहार की घटना को गंभीरता से लेते हुए एनएचएआई ने कड़ा कदम उठाया है। एनएचएआई ने लखनऊ–सुल्तानपुर खंड NH-731 पर स्थित इस टोल प्लाज़ा की यूज़र शुल्क संग्रहण एजेंसी एम/एस स्काईलार्क इन्फ्रा इंजीनियरिंग प्राइवेट लिमिटेड का अनुबंध तत्काल प्रभाव से समाप्त कर दिया है।

प्राधिकरण द्वारा जारी आदेश के अनुसार एजेंसी को एक वर्ष के लिए एनएचएआई की किसी भी निविदा प्रक्रिया में भाग लेने से वंचित कर दिया गया है। साथ ही अनुबंध के तहत जमा की गई ₹5.3 करोड़ की बैंक गारंटी/परफॉर्मेंस सिक्योरिटी को जब्त करने की प्रक्रिया भी शुरू कर दी गई है। एजेंसी को कदाचार के लिए कारण बताओ नोटिस भी जारी किया गया है।

एनएचएआई ने अपने बयान में कहा कि टोल कर्मियों द्वारा आम जनता के साथ किसी भी प्रकार का दुर्व्यवहार अनुबंध की शर्तों का घोर उल्लंघन है। अनुबंध में स्पष्ट प्रावधान है कि ठेकेदार के कर्मचारी यात्रियों के साथ शालीन और अनुशासित व्यवहार करेंगे तथा किसी भी प्रकार की हिंसा या अभद्रता बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी। यह घटना एजेंसी की लापरवाही, कमजोर पर्यवेक्षण और अनुबंधीय दायित्वों के उल्लंघन को दर्शाती है।

प्राधिकरण ने दोहराया कि राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग उपयोगकर्ताओं की सुरक्षा और सम्मान सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है। टोल प्लाज़ाओं पर कदाचार के प्रति शून्य-सहिष्णुता नीति अपनाई जाएगी और भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाओं पर और भी कठोर कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

लोग अपने घर परिवार से दूर सैकड़ों हजारों किलोमीटर का सफर रेलवे से करते है। क्या भारतीय रेलवे यात्रियों के सुरक्षा की जिम्मेदारी भी नहीं ले सकता?

इंसानियत को शर्मसार करने वाला ये वायरल वीडियो जबलपुर रेलवे स्टेशन का बताया जा रहा हैं। जहां एक यात्री ने समोसे के पैसे PhonePe से देने की कोशिश की, लेकिन भुगतान असफल रहा और ट्रेन चल पड़ी। इतनी सी बात पर समोसा विक्रेता ने यात्री की कॉलर पकड़ ली, उसे अपमानित किया और जबरन पैसे की मांग की। ट्रेन पकड़ने की जल्दी में यात्री को अपनी घड़ी उतारकर देनी पड़ी।
