#Karnataka (Udipi) | Wife Throws Chilli Powder Mixed In Hot Water On Husband

▪️Detains him in her home so that he cannot avail any medical treatment

▪️Afrin got married to Mohammed Asif eleven months ago

▪️After staying in her matrimonial home for a month, she returned to her parents' home

▪️Asif too, moved into his wife's home & was living there since 9-months

▪️Suspecting husband's infidelity, Afrin threw chilli powder mixed in hot water at him

▪️Asif had burn injuries on the left part of his body, from face to waist

▪️His father-in-law, mother-in-law and their neighbour locked him inside a room preventing him from getting treatment while Afrin allegedly threatened to kill him

▪️Police has registered case against all accused for causing hurt, wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation. Investigation is on.

▪️India does not recognize Domestic Violence against Men
