We had a lovely time at Lake Winnipeg Indigenous Collective’s land-based winter camp in Fisher River Cree Nation, talking about birds and beadwork, measuring our wingspans, snowshoeing, and reflecting on how birds help us connect to each other and to the land and water around us.
