MBIX is now restored, and normal operations have resumed. We replaced a 100G optic, and cleaned and replaced a patch cable. The green light in the photo is for go!

We decided to shut member ports because we lack a second path between our two primary switches. The fabric went up and down many times during testing, best for members not to experience that flapping

Update: this is now resolved and all peers are active again. Spare optics are good to have.
