When will the proposed 3+3 ORR–Hennur Main Road–Bagalur elevated corridor become reality? Or can't we at least get quality asphalt?

🚨 COMMUTERS ARE SUFFERING ON BENGALURU'S OUTER RING ROAD — WHICH GOVERNMENT AGENCY WILL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY?
📍 Location: Babusapalya, Kalyan Nagar, Outer Ring Road, Bengaluru
I sincerely and humbly request the concerned authorities to visit the location and assess the problem on the ground.
Metro construction work is underway, with a JCB machine operating approximately 100 metres from the location of the poorly designed cement speed breakers that are contributing to severe traffic congestion.
In these circumstances, if the concerned Traffic Police officers and staff coordinate with the Metro authorities and their personnel, a practical solution may be possible. The question is: who will take the initiative and ensure that the problem is resolved?
The Traffic Police have stated that a letter has already been sent to the concerned department. However, more than a week has passed since the complaint was raised, and no effective improvement is visible at the location.
Is the responsibility of government departments limited to writing letters? If one department fails to act, can the other concerned authorities not follow up and coordinate to resolve the problem?
Why should the general public suffer because responsibility is being passed between three or four government agencies? Why can one responsible department not step forward and get this issue resolved?
Traffic congestion extending to approximately 2 kilometres continues to be a concern at this location. Commuters are losing valuable time, fuel consumption is increasing, and vehicles may be exposed to unnecessary wear and damage.
As a citizen, I sometimes hesitate before raising public issues because I am concerned about the possibility of receiving personal calls that may create pressure after speaking out. I am not accusing any particular individual, but citizens should not have to feel intimidated or pressured for raising legitimate public concerns.
🙏 A Humble Appeal to the Concerned Authorities
@blrcitytraffic@acpeasttraffic@DCPTrEastBCP@Jointcptraffic
I respectfully appeal to BMRCL, GBA, BBMP and all other relevant agencies to coordinate immediately and assign clear responsibility to one competent authority to ensure that this problem is resolved without further delay.
• Arrange a technical inspection of the speed breakers.
• If they do not meet the applicable standards, ensure that they are corrected in accordance with the relevant requirements.
• Establish immediate coordination between the Metro construction team and the concerned road authorities.
• Take urgent steps to reduce traffic congestion.
• Provide a clear update on the action taken in response to the complaint.
I sincerely appeal to the authorities: please do not allow this issue to remain unresolved because of overlapping departmental responsibilities. Let one responsible agency step forward and get it fixed as soon as possible.
The public needs practical solutions on the ground, not merely assurances.

Bengaluru's BBMP (now GBA) hasn't had civic elections in over 10 years.
₹5,500 crore is being spent on roads right now and there's no elected body to hold accountable if it's wasted. We keep debating potholes. The actual bug is structural.
