#WATCH | Delhi: Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjpur, counsel for the accused in Punjab targeted killings, says, "There are 8 cases related to Punjab's alleged targeted killings in 2016-17. The Supreme Court transferred the case from Punjab to Delhi in 2019. Among these, 6 are murder cases, including sections of the UAPA, and 2 are attempted murder cases. A total of 14 accused are involved; 9 have been granted bail, 5 are in jail, and 2 are held in different jails. The accused include Hardeep Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Bhagga Hardeep Singh, Shera Jagtar Singh, Jaggi Jol (a UK national), Amarinder Singh, and Manpreet Singh. Only around 250 witnesses were examined in 8.5 years. It's good if we get bail, but some people have already been granted bail... The Supreme Court has asked the Trial Court to submit its report by March 15 on the number of witnesses. On March 24, the Supreme Court will announce the bail for Jagtar Singh Jol..."
