He apologized. His abuse won't affect the personality and greatness of prophet Muhammad.
Forgiveness over Revenge.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the symbol of love, mercy and forgiveness.
Religious figures are great because of their innate qualities of mercy and compassion.
He is in jail not for opinion or criticism of prophet (pbuh) but for insulting him in very degrading words and said he would attack attack and mutilate our prophet (pbuh) if he gets prophet in his hands.
Unfortunately radical muslims support Blasphemy laws, and muslim countries implement blasphemy laws in 21st century.
Because of this, 2/3 islamic countries are under developed.
Muslims do not need any blasphemy laws, anywhere.
For neither God, the Prophet, nor the Quran need our โprotection.โ
Plus, when we vow to kill people for โinsultingโ them, we do not achieve any โrespectโ for them.
For respect is earned by virtue, not extracted by threats.

Hindu extremists defend killing of muslims for eating beef,
Muslim extremists defend killing in the name of blasphemy.
Moderate folks from both religions should voice out against these anti-humans. IMO, muslim extremists are more dangerous.

@RM_Says In the middle east, blasphemy laws have been existed for decades.
In fact, when you fill up the form, you are already warned regarding this.
May he be freed and returned to his home.
Religion must be the example of humanity and mercy especially valuing the human life
No one is asking you to choose between condemning injustice in India and condemning an individual for what he did in KSA. One wrong doesn't cancel out another. If your principle is justice, it has to apply consistently, regardless of who the victim is. Calling every criticism a conspiracy against Muslims doesnโt make the criticism disappear.
Both wrongs don't make a right.
If your purpose is justice, it must be for the people of all communities.
You can't be selective on this.
Oppose extremism on all sides
I find it amusing when Indian Hindus take moral high ground. They call the Saudi death sentence barbaric, yet support the cow vigilantes (Gaurakshaks) extra-judicial killings of Muslims & Dalits on mere suspicion of beef. At least, Saudi followed the due process of law. You didn't even do that.
Secondly, when your own Gujarat's cow-protection law allows LIFE IMPRISONMENT for slaughter of cows & courts have repeatedly imposed it. What moral right do you have to criticize the laws of other nations barbaric?
This selective outrage only highlights the double standards of Hindus.
Indian govt can't do anything but Sri Lankan govt must especially Sri Lankan muslim organisations must come forward to save his life.
This will be the perfect example of humanity and mutual harmony.
Save Anujanโs life.
Muslim organisations in Sri Lanka should submit a clemency appeal to the Saudi authorities, urging them to reconsider the death sentence imposed on Anujan.
At the same time, the Government of India should intervene immediately and strongly through diplomatic channels and take all necessary steps to prevent the execution of the death sentence.
What Anujan did cannot be justified. But a mistake does not necessarily have to end with the taking of a life.
As long as there is a chance to save a life, that opportunity should be pursued.

Religions and their figures are known for showing mercy, compassion and forgiveness.
Hopefully we will choose forgiveness over punishments and bigotry when it comes to the human life.
@xoxoshirazi Liberation of Palestine
Israel is a nuclear power, backed by nuclear power, recognised by over 180 countries is not going anywhere.
There should be a Palestine alongside Israel, that would be the practical approach.
In the name of liberation, many countries were ruined completely
๐จ Amnesty International urges Saudi Arabia to quash Anojan's death sentence and release him
Amnesty International has called on Saudi Arabia to quash the death sentence imposed on Sivarasa Anojan, the Tamil migrant worker from Kalmunai condemned over a social media post, and to release him immediately and unconditionally, warning that his execution would amount to an arbitrary deprivation of life.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the rights organisation said Anojan's conviction stemmed entirely from his exercise of freedom of expression, after a Saudi appeal court sentenced him to death over a Facebook comment deemed insulting to the Prophet Muhammad. Amnesty said he was denied access to a lawyer from the moment of his arrest until his initial sentencing.
@Muslim_ITCell Innocent muslims?
Those two innocent Muslims who beheaded kanhaiya lal in the name of defending the honour of prophet Muhammad. They even filmed it.
Sit down.
