@RahulGandhi ji, today you acknowledged that Punjab Congress's ongoing internal battles highlight the importance of strong and stable leadership. If that is the case, it is important to remember that it was not the people of Punjab who removed @capt_amarinder from office—it was the Congress leadership's decision.

In my view, that decision created a leadership vacuum that the party has struggled to fill. The present leadership falls well short of the vision and experience that @capt_amarinder brought to Punjab.

If the party is serious about introspection, it should also hold accountable those leaders who advised and supported the decision to remove @capt_amarinder

Punjab needs leaders with a deep understanding of agriculture, the economy, and the education system—leaders who put the state's long-term development ahead of internal power struggles and personal ambitions.

With Jammu & Kashmir on the cusp of a New Government, it is time to revisit the administrative structure of J&K given that the Central Government has committed ad-nauseam to restore Statehood since July 5 th 2019 .

The July 2024 amendments to the Transaction of Business of the Government of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir Rules, 2019 will virtually render the elected Government of Jammu & Kashmir into a glorified Municipal body .

With substantive powers being concentrated in the Lt. Governor & the rules envisaging bypassing the Chief Minister in various instances with files on sensitive matters being put up directly by Chief Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor,

The Chief Minister would then perhaps have the same powers as the Mayor of a Municipal Corporation.

Even if Statehood is restored to Jammu & Kashmir if these amendments continue to hold the field no elected Government would have a final say on critical issues.

This is the anti thesis of Federalism

It would be rule by the Lt. Governor.

As the adage goes the Devil lies in the detail.

These amendments to the rules are an interesting study & a classic case of over centralisation.

They must be repealed before a new Government is sworn in - in Jammu & Kashmir.

Law & order have hit rock bottom in Punjab.
You can be attacked & looted at any moment,whether at work or home. In Dunneke (Moga) Rajesh was brutally attacked with we@pons while sitting in medical shop. They looted cash & iPhone,leaving him in critical condition, now admitted at hospital.

Every day, there are reports of snatchings, att@cks, robberies, sh00tings & r@nsom calls. Yet the @BhagwantMann govt seems to have no grip on the situation. Instead,all their energy is wasted on flashy PR & advertisements.
