Congratulations and my very best wishes to Manikandan & and to @ChennaiBlitz for rewarding and mainstreaming rural talent. This recognition will inspire and accelerate the scaling of Isha Gramotsavam across rural Bharat. Blessings to everyone involved in striving to make this happen. -Sg
The Great Indian Education Scam exposed!
Indian schools have become a billing machine. Schools today focus less on education and more on extortion!
You need to pay “donations” just to get admitted to schools. School textbooks are charging 10,000+ per year. Uniforms, books, shoes can be bought from fixed shops because schools take commissions.
The biggest irony is that these school make so much "profit" but are still classified in the non-profit category.
We need an Education system which has:
1. Transparent fee structures
2. A maximum limit on fees
3. Affordable Books & Uniform
4. Freedom to buy books from any seller
It is time for parents to raise questions! Share this video so it reaches every parent, teacher & government education authority!
Good air, clean water, and food are fundamental to a good life. In that sense, they should be treated as fundamental rights.
But air quality has been steadily degrading, and it's not really part of the mainstream conversation. That needs to change. Right now, if you look at the site (link in comments), everything looks green. But as we get closer to the end of the year, things will start looking much worse.
Solving air pollution is hard, but the first step is simple: people need to know what they're breathing.
Right now, that's not possible. India does collect air quality data, but it's either locked away, too broad to tell you anything about your locality, or just not published at all. There's no single place a citizen can go to get a clear, neighbourhood-level picture.
So we set out to fix that.
Today, we're launching an open, pan-India air quality platform, built in partnership with leading organisations in the field. The goal: give citizens, schools, local governments, and communities direct access to the data that affects their daily lives.
At @RainmatterOrg , we've been committed to keeping this conversation alive, and this platform is our attempt at making that happen. All the data on the site is free and open, so others can build on top of it.
Incredible initiative by The Fern Habitat, Jaipur! 🏨✨
They’re ensuring that surplus food from their morning service doesn't go to waste, distributing it with dignity to those on the road.
This is how we build a hunger-free India. Kudos to the team!

In 2016, a dog fell into a reservoir in Almaty and could not escape the steep concrete walls and strong current. A man tried to help but was unable to reach it on his own. Seeing this, several strangers stepped in and formed a human chain, reaching down into the rushing water and saving both the dog and the man.
Ten years later, this moment was turned into a sculpture unveiled on March 18. Funded privately and approved by the city, it stands as a symbol of kindness, unity, and people coming together.
More than a tribute to a single rescue, it reflects something simple and real: in urgent moments, strangers can help one another and save lives.

I lost my account with over 440,000 followers. And, X hasn't been helpful so far.
My account @Akshat_World has been hacked.
My team has tried to coordinate with X support. But, it just keeps hitting a bot. We are clueless at this point how to approach this further.
It had taken me several years to build this account.
Not sure if I will ever get it back.
Just hoping that good folks would help me escalate this. @elonmusk@nikitabier
Thank you :)
In March 2026, in response to a defamation case filed by Isha in 2024, the Delhi High Court issued an order directing media outlet Nakkheeran to remove all defamatory videos and articles it published against Isha Foundation and Sadhguru.
Tired rehashings of these salacious allegations, amplified by other malicious entities, have been repeatedly dismissed by the courts, police investigations and government enquiries. The latest order reaffirms what Isha has consistently maintained: that these allegations are untrue, and part of a motivated, long-running attempt to mislead the public and damage the reputation of Isha and Sadhguru.
₹19,000 crore.
That is what Banks collected in last 3 years just for not maintaining ‘Minimum Account Balance.’
Not from the rich. Not from big borrowers.
From the poorest accounts in the system.
Their crime? They didn’t have enough money.
A farmer misses the minimum balance - Penalty.
A pensioner withdraws money for medicine - Penalty.
A daily wage worker falls short by a few hundred rupees - Penalty.
The poor keep money in banks for safety. Not to be quietly fined for being poor.
Financial inclusion should protect small savings, not punish small balances.
In Parliament today I proposed ending minimum balance penalties so the banking system stops charging people for their poverty.
I must confess that until recently I had never heard of Phool Dei, a spring festival that was celebrated yesterday in the villages of Uttarakhand.
Children gather fresh flowers from the hills and go from house to house placing them on doorsteps, offering a blessing for the household:
“Phool Dei, Chhamma Dei,
Deni Dwar, Bhar Bhakar…” roughly wishing the home prosperity.
In return they receive sweets.
It reminded me a little of Halloween in the U.S., where children go door to door saying “trick or treat.” But what a lovely contrast. Here the children arrive not threatening a prank, or asking first, but giving first. Flowers.
In an age when we speak so much about environmental consciousness, this graceful celebration of spring and nature deserves to be far more widely known.
Just as Holi travelled across India and the world, perhaps Phool Dei should too.
For me, the children of Uttarakhand are my #MondayMotivation

Congratulations to the Govt. of Tamil Nadu for implementing a vital part of the Save Soil policy of allowing farmers to grow trees of great value to enhance farmer economy and also enhancing soil quality which is a proven method that we have implemented through #CauveryCalling. Truly, once again, thank you to the Tamil Nadu government for making a significant part of Save Soil policy alive in Tamil Nadu. -Sg

I wish my school Physics teacher had been as animated & creative…
Bernoulli’s principle would have been far more exciting, & not just one more principle to ‘mug’.
Even in an age of AI, creative teaching will always have a space…
Today, I’m announcing my biggest project of the year to make 24cr Indian children health literate.
We are launching Kids Pharmer, a calm health education channel for kids.
Parents are fed up with channels like Cocomelon, which make highly addictive videos and often promote junk food.
Just like Popeye made spinach cool, and Johnny Johnny Yes Papa was anti-sugar. I want to bring back the kind of childhood content we grew up with. Simple. Honest. Memorable.
It’ll take years for health to be a subject in every school in India, and until then, we want to teach health to kids through videos.
A healthy India starts with Healthy kids. Let’s make India healthy again!
Love,
Food Pharmer
