I've been learning rust for going to two months now from @NesthubEdu community, very big shout out to them! . I actually enjoy teaching, so I figured out I can accelerate my learning process by actually recording myself explain some of these rust codes.

I was able to go out with @Logos_network Circle Community in my City to Carry our first Winnable issue.

We had to go to the street to interview the people about the major issues they were facing, then we picked the one that was consistent with most of them.

We decided to go out and tackle the in the way we could.

Join your next circle meetup in your city.

Watch what we did👇

We listened to our community.

We identified waste disposal and environmental sanitation as a winnable issue, and now we’re taking action.

Logos Circle Ibadan has been an interesting journey so far. For our third meetups, we’ll come together to clean up a selected community location and take the first step towards a cleaner environment.

Join us. Bring your energy, and let’s make a visible difference together.

A quick recap from last week’s Evening With Rust 🦀

We started with some of the fundamentals every Rust developer needs to understand.

We learned how Rust handles variables and why mutability matters when you want a value to change.

We also explored different data types, including numbers, decimals, true/false values, characters, and strings and why choosing the right type matters.

All thanks to our Tutors.

And yes it's another episode today, we're continuing tonight.

If you missed last week, this is a good time to jump in.

Come with your questions, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

🕕 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM WAT

See you at Evening With Rust. 🦀

If you've been thinking of becoming a developer, but not sure which one to go for or probably thought it's only frontend and backend developers that exist.

This post is for you.

I've got to realised that lots of people don't really know that there are types of developer they just thought coding is coding...Yes its coding but they code different things.

In this series, we'll explore some of the most common developer paths, what they do, and the tools they use to build the technology we rely on every day.
There's a lot to cover, so this guide will be split into parts.

Let's dive into Part 1. 🧵👇

Tech Tip Tuesday

One thing that can save you a lot of frustration as a beginner.

Don't just copy code because it works.
If you copy a solution from ChatGPT, Google, or Stack Overflow, take a minute to understand why it works.

Otherwise, the moment something changes or goes wrong you won't be surprised.

It's advisable to use tools. Use AI. Join communities. Ask questions.

And make sure you're using every opportunity to learn... and earn alongside.

That's how you go from copying code to actually understanding and making use of it.

It's a new week. Don't just plan it. Build it.

Use this week to learn how to read code you didn't write.

Open-source projects, GitHub repository, even old code you wrote months ago.

Don't just ask, “How do I write this?”

Ask, “How did they solve this?”

You don't need to understand everything at once.

Just start learning how to navigate unfamiliar code.

That's a developer skill too.

Good morning, builders.

Let's make this week count.

[Nesthub DevEd @NesthubEdu]

Happy Sunday, builders!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for Evening With Rust this week.

We hope you learned something new, asked questions, and took another step toward becoming a better builder.

If you couldn't make it this week you shouldn't miss next week's sessions.

Come ready to learn, build, and grow with us.

Enjoy your Sunday, recharge, and get ready for a new week of learning, building, and new opportunities.

See you next week!!!
