It's high time the Ummah accepts polygamy as a solution instead of demeaning it or running away from it or shrugging it off as 'only for the times of the Sahabah'.
Look around for yourself, the number of boys in the Muslim community is shrinking heavily (because of more girls being born).
Add this to the fact that nowadays more Muslim girls are practicing Islam and educated in comparison to Muslim boys, and more females are entering Islam than ever.
Polygamy is a bitter medicine for most women, but the alternative is sweet poison in the form of too many females staying unmarried and vulnerable in this era of nudity and lewdity.

Ever wondered why classical Arabic warriors were proudly named Tha'labah (Tha'lab for fox-male, Tha'labah- female)? Look closely at this magnificent desert fox. To the ancient Arabs, it wasn't a mere trickster, but a profound symbol of strategic brilliance, extreme resilience, and unmatched agility. There were many Sahabah named Tha'labah as well, because their societies appreciated the good qualities of the fox and wanted their sons to be known by them.
Shaykh Ibn ʿUthaymīn said:
“Rather, they are the separate, partisan groups that have floated to the surface in these recent times, whereas the youth years ago their direction was sound. One of them did not believe that the other was opposed to Allāh, or that he was on one side while the other was on another side. But in recent times, what shayṭān has sown among our youth has begun, partisanship and zeal for a particular group or a particular person, until loyalty and disavowal have come to be dependent upon who loves this person and who does not love him. And there is no doubt that this is a tremendous blemish and a deadly disease that dissolves the Ummah, tears apart its unity, and divides its youth.
So my advice to my young sons and my brothers is that they leave this partisanship, and that they leave classifying people, and that they not concern themselves with a specific individual, making loyalty and disavowal dependent upon showing loyalty to him or disavowing oneself from him; and that they take the truth wherever it may be and leave falsehood wherever it may be. Whoever errs from among the scholars, then his error is upon himself; and whoever is correct, then his correctness is for himself and for others. And it is absolutely impermissible that we believe anyone to be protected from error in the religion of Allāh except the Messenger of Allh ﷺ.
So what is the matter with us now testing people and saying: ‘What do you say about such-and-such? What do you say about so-and-so? What do you say about such-and-such group?’ Did the Messenger ﷺ used to test people with this? Or did the Companions used to test people with this? Indeed, this is from the affair of the misguided factions which want to divide the people so that they will not be a firmly established generation in the face of the challenges that we hear about every day and see in newspapers and magazines from those who wage war against this religion and the people of this religion.”

The Faqeeh Shaykh Saad Al Khathlaan:
(For those who haven’t come to hajj)
Sitting in the masjid after asr on the day of Arafat to remember Allah & to make dua is fine.
It’s only an innovated practice to do what people used to do in the past, coming in to the masjid wearing Ihram and doing talbiyyah in the masjid.
Shaykh Abdul Azeez Aal Ash-Shaykh, the former Mufti—may Allah have mercy upon him—was a Quranic figure par excellence; the Quran was his perpetual focus and constant preoccupation.
During a radio interview, he—may Allah have mercy upon him—was asked about the verses he frequently recited and favored repeating. He responded: "The concluding verses of Surah Al-Zumar, commencing with the words of Allah the Almighty: ﴾Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah'﴿ until the end of the Surah."
He then recounted: "I recited it during the prayer for rain (Salat al-Istisqa) in the year 1392 AH (1972 CE), and King Faisal—may Allah have mercy upon him—was praying alongside us. Upon concluding the prayer (with the taslim), we observed him weeping due to the profound impact of these verses—may Allah forgive him." End of quote.

King ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz’s response to the offer of betraying Palestine for 20 million dollars
• He said:
❝As for the Jews in particular, it is not hidden from the President [Roosevelt] what prior and ongoing enmity exists between us and them. It is known and mentioned in the books that are in our hands, and it has been deeply rooted from the beginning of time. From this, it clearly appears that we do not feel safe from the treachery of the Jews, nor can we discuss matters with them or trust their promises: first, because we know their intentions toward the Arabs and the Muslims; and second, because we have not contacted the Arabs in order to know their opinion. As we mentioned previously, should His Excellency wish us to canvass them and seek out their opinion, we will then carry out that wish.
As for the person who is Dr. Weissman, there is a special enmity between me and this person, because of the criminal audacity he showed toward me personally, apart from all the Arabs and Islām, by directing to me a vile assignment: that I should be a traitor to my religion and my country. This only increases hatred for him and for those to whom he belongs. This assignment occurred at the beginning of this war, when he sent to me a known European person, charging me to abandon the issue of Palestine and the support of the rights of the Arabs and Muslims therein, and to hand me 20 million pounds in exchange for that, and that this sum would be guaranteed by His Excellency President Roosevelt himself. Is there any audacity or baseness greater than this? And is there any crime more heinous than this crime, that this person would dare to undertake such an assignment, and make His Excellency the President a guarantor for such a low act?!❞
