Other people's dreams are not your own. Other people's purposes are not your own. Be careful not to fall into the trap of comparison. Live your calling. Walk your path.
Don’t let the voice of doubt drown out the voice of God. Shake off whatever is trying to hold you back. It’s time to let the voice of God come booming through loud and clear. #ExceptionalYouBook
The reason why many of our prayers are boring (even to God) is because too many people aren't "doing life" with God. If they were, God would be involved in the good, bad and the ugly. Like a friend. Not just hearing prayers for blessings or deliverance.
I think the “art of de-escalation” is far too rare in our culture. You never “lose ground” when you graciously step back. Ever. Even if it makes you “look weak”. Ends up making whatever you have to say much stronger.. sometimes when a boxer changes his stance it swings a fight..
Sometimes we can change our circumstances, and other times we can change the way we view our circumstances. If things seem beyond your control, ask God to help you to see through His eyes.
The way to have continual joy is to keep a song of praise in your heart. All through the day we should have a grateful attitude. In our thoughts, we’re always thinking about God’s goodness.
When you go through life at peace, in faith, knowing that God is surrounding what’s surrounding you, you’re showing God that you trust Him. That’s what allows Him to show Himself strong in your life.
If our generation stops exercising our faith and believing God, the next generation won’t know that there is a faith to be exercised, nor a God to be believed.
Para conocer a Dios de verdad, necesitamos batallar en medio de los sufrimientos, luchar con nuestras dudas sinceras e incluso aprender a vivir con preguntas que carecen de respuesta.
Craig Groeschel
When you develop the habit of always thinking about God’s goodness, seeing the best, life goes so much better. That’s how you have joy despite what’s happening.
I can see the promise
I can see the future
You’re the God of seasons
I'm just in the winter
If all I know of harvest
Is that it’s worth my patience
Then if You’re not done working
God I’m not done waiting
