@kirstofcomms I tried to book 4 seats together. Ticketmaster wouldn't let me because there was one available seat at the opposite end of the section.π€¦ββοΈ
@GG37374104 I don't understand homeowners that don't take care of their properties. I get that this is a rental but I have seen owner occupied homes in Mississauga that are equally bad.
@nationalpost I have traveled to Europe and elsewhere and found the service is significantly better than North America. Their credit card machines don't have a tip option.
@TdLeaker There are a lot of seniors living in large single family homes. Provide them with incentives to downsize to condos or much smaller living spaces.
@CTVToronto Normally a lawyer would have handled the transfer and would have advised their client about the tax implication. I find it hard to believe she didn't know.
Did she report this disposition on her taxes or hope that CRA wouldn't notice?
@nationalpost Wait until her kids find out that they might not be able to build on those lots because of the hydro tower and wetlands. The capital gains cost will be minor in comparison to the cost of environmental and other assessments that will be required.
@CTVKitchener Was any research done before selling the land? If one is on a hydro corridor and the other on wetlands they may not get approval to build.
@JonFlynnREstats I remember watching an episode right before rates went up. I had just locked in my mortgage. He was still advising homeowners not to lock in rates and telling people to keep buying. Lost all respect.
@FrankGrimes_Jr WFH is great for experienced staff. I feel sorry for young entry level kids who are missing out on the learnings that come with working in an office. It's very hard to train remotely.
@TorontoStar Misleading article. Interest rate increase would likely have just delayed sale of their home. After 20 years their mortgage balance should have been small. This article also fails to mention the importance life insurance.
@alandrummond2 It's not just SDM doing this. When the government got rid of fees paid to pharmacies by the drug companies they started using MedChecks to compensate for the revenue loss. They have also reduced staff so there isn't time to do proper med checks with those who really need it.
@MaryFernando_ @CBC Many pharmacies have med check quotas. They are a revenue stream for the pharmacies. They often choose easy customers because staff doesn't have time to counsel those who really need it.
@alandrummond2 Med checks can be time consuming. Those with multiple meds who should be getting them often aren't offered them because pharmacy staff don't have time to do them. Instead they look for customers who are quick to review so they can bill with little effort.
