@News12LI once again, the @lirr cancelled trains and does not provide information about alternate trains stopping at New Hyde Park on the 2nd track causing travelers to cross the tracks while the gates are down! The safety of the public should be your #1 concern!

@LIRR seems like extra trains are stopping at New Hyde Park without any announcements. People are crossing the tracks while the gates are down to catch an unannounced train on the opposite side. This is not a good way to operate a company!
