The problem here is competence and judgment, or lack thereof. The Secretary of Defense is supposed to command respect from allies who stand beside us.

Hegseth, a weekend TV host with no experience running anything close to the Pentagon, does the opposite.
He insults our allies and makes us all less safe.

Hegseth never should have been confirmed. He should resign. Our military, our allies, and the memory of those who fought in wars past deserve far better.
