If I could ask: Could Gen 6:4 be referring to the Greek Heroes when it speaks of the heroes of old, men of renown as a means to delegitimize them in the Hellenistic era?

@maklelan I ask because there seems to be competition between Jewish and Christian scribes with their Greek counterparts. The Biblical scribes wanted to make their heroes and god "better" than the Greeks'.
