We want equality and justice for all the students. Our syllabus was not completed. We are constantly suffering. Totally traumatized, we are unable to focus on our studies. So we are demanding to get justice!! #CUwantsJustice@ugc_india@jdhankhar1@ugc_india
1. Most universities of WB are conducting online exams, if students of CU appear in offline exams, their CGPA will be lesser than them, so getting a chance in masters will be tough, percentile will be lesser than the students of other universities, leading our career to dead end.
The demand of the children are justified. Take exams but only of the syllabus completed. That's it. Would want the kind attention of @MamataOfficial@basu_bratya@jdhankhar1
In some colleges the teachers refused to take classes but were present in campus.
#JusticeforCUStudents
Lives of these children doesn't matter it seems!! Who will be taking the responsibility of another mishap takes place?? The Controller of exam didn't even come to her office insite of d orders of d HC. Did the VC Sonali Chakraborty Banerjee atleast bother to hear their issues?
Nor are these available online. So you want that they should fail? The HC took its own sweet time to give its decision but alas they threw the ball in the court of the university ( & they aren't bothered at all)
A student has already committed suicide yet no one is bothered.
I find it ridiculous that all other universities are taking online exams but it's only this university who is forcing the students to appear for offline exams. Did the professors teach them or have sent Pdf files only?PG & UG study materials aren't available in the market.
Why did the Calcutta High Court not take cognizance of the students of Calcutta University? Why are the children being forced to sit for offline exams when their syllabus has not been completed? Is the university trying to ruin the career of an entire generation?
2. Colleges tried to complete a semester worthy syllabus in 1.5 months, and the rest of the topics were covered via sending PDFs. Private tutors also completed the syllabus via online mode. Online classes can't be equal to offline classes.
4. Due to the excessive heat, University declared a summer vacation without any proper notice so the colleges arranged their vacations as they liked. Only a few colleges provided online classes and tried to complete the syllabus via PDF, study materials uploaded in Google drive.
5. And at the last, colleges forced the students to either sign a feedback form with a declaration that all the syllabus was properly completed, or they will not release the admit cards of individuals who would not sign them.
