The COP29 Presidency has worked alongside @commonwealthsec to put Small Island Developing States at the heart of the climate conversation. Addressing the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, the COP29 President-Designate, reiterated the Government of Azerbaijan’s concrete measures to facilitate the meaningful participation of SIDS, funding the participation of SIDS delegations at COP29, as well as in the preparatory meetings preceding the conference. This program reflects the COP29 Presidency’s commitment to putting the voices of those most affected by climate change at the center of the agenda.
