@VaultedHero@BackersGamesF Great take, loved the mystique of Chapter 4 Season 1’s map and this one feels very similar. Also so glad to see some unique POIs that aren’t just city/suburban copy paste. I felt Chapter 7’s first map really struggled to be unique, and this one is miles better imo
@JustTeddii This has got to be my favorite season in a long time. Wrecked was a favorite of mine because it really shook up the gameplay loop, and sprites have had a similar impact for me. Not to mention the map is the best it’s been in a long time. Absolutely loving the changes, keep it up
@Starlight_Skull You should do more of these! I’ll drop a follow, I like thinking about this sort of thing too. I’ve thought about sidegrading being brought back with recycling bins found around the map, that could be a fun refresh of that system too.
@Golu345788@ShiinaBR Look at the whole situation before you post a comment like this. It’s not”complaining” that’s the issue, it’s the people that are using this platform to harass and bully people to the point they feel threatened and that’s not something you just shrug off and get over.
@EpicTofuChris Each update made the game feel fresh, overwatch collab added lots of fun changes to the gameplay loop at the end of season where previous seasons have been lacking, overall pretty solid season but I hope the TTK gets addressed more next season.
@FNLoreArchive Season 4 would feature a flooded island where underwater POIs are highlighted, new swimming mechanics and first person exploration. Collecting rare artifacts from underwater POIs (sunken ships, pirate ruins, caves) would grant abilities, think like Subnautica or Sea of Thieves.
@FNLoreArchive Season 2 would end and the monsters would be defeated by the High Stakes Club. Season 3 would be a celebration with new urban POIs which expand as the season continues, a sponsorship mechanic with sponsor-specific perks and an emphasis on environmental chaos and destruction…
@JustTeddii I really love the concept of players’ actions resulting in updates in-game. The Seven gauntlets are already super fun for mobility and I’m really hyped to see how the content continues to roll out this season!
@JustTeddii I’ve been playing all afternoon, and I’m just not feeling it. I wish there was more choice involved with the rivalry feature, right now it feels a bit spammy. The loot pool is okay but it’s a big adjustment. Giving it more time because I’m sure it will grow on me!
@FNLoreArchive I hope the tropical biome doesn’t overtake my beloved Fore Fields. But it would also make sense unfortunately if modern lazy links was replaced by modern lazy lagoon or something.
@JustTeddii Consistent updates throughout the season, lore and gameplay wise (vaults and unvaults, new loot), also having more to do throughout a match makes each game feel fresh. Rift anomalies have been a great addition and I’d like to see more chaotic additions.
@JustTeddii@SypherPK Additionally, I’d like to see the story expand with more cinematics and audio logs to add context to the more overt changes. Bringing back old factions and characters is great, but the pacing feels off without at least some of the spectacle that used to exist around the storyline
@JustTeddii@SypherPK I’ve REALLY enjoyed the return to simpler and more streamlined gameplay this season. Rift anomalies such as Gold Rush make matches feel unique, and additional anomalies and more frequent vaults/unvaults would be beneficial imo.
