I'd like to remind you that we are in the 5th year of this war.
People who still haven't figures out that the Russians are the bad guys or continue pushing Russian propaganda, deserve absolutely zero fucking charity.
I do not care how much you agree with them on other issues.
Because all you post has been disproven years ago. You do little more than repost the same Russian propaganda that has been endlessly repeated by the same set of morons for the last 5 years. Fuck you, Vatnik.
‘It’s a US proxy war.’ Delivered knowingly, over coffee, by people who never asked a single Ukrainian anything.
I have heard this song before. In 2008, as my country bled, Moscow explained that Georgians had not chosen anything either — Washington had simply wound us up like toys.
Notice what ‘proxy war’ actually does. It performs the empire’s core operation — erasing the subjecthood of smaller nations — using Western mouths, free of charge.
Forty million people voted with the most expensive currency there is. A million volunteered before serious Western weapons arrived. Grandmothers handed sunflower seeds to occupiers in week one — when the ‘proxies’ were expected to fold in three days, and the West’s offer was evacuation, not armament.
Kyiv did not fight because Washington wished it. Washington armed Ukraine because Ukraine refused to die. The causality runs through Ukrainian spines.
Call it what the evidence shows: a war of national survival, with reluctant sponsors.
‘Proxy’ is not analysis. It is colonialism with a graduate degree.
@BrankoMilan Sorry, @BrankoMilan , but I know this history far better than you and you have zero idea what you're talking about. Nobody who knew even a fraction about this history or Ukrainian politics would come to your idiotic both sides conclusion.
No one expects you to believe political commentators have suddenly changed, or even to stop disliking them. If you're upset about Zelenskyy's interview with Loomer, just remember what’s at stake: our survival. Not personal grudges or disappointment, survival. You don't need to put faith in her. Put faith in Ukraine, and in our ability leverage the situation to our benefit.
