LIFE HAS NO FORMULA.
One thing I find so strange about life is how quickly we try to find a formula for everything.
They tell you, βAlcohol damages the liver.β
Then you meet someone with a serious liver problem who never drank alcohol in their life.
They tell you, βSmoking causes lung cancer.β
Then you meet someone with lung cancer who has never been a smoker.
They tell you certain things can cause problems with the womb.
Then you meet a woman struggling with womb-related health issues who never did any of those things.
They tell you, βCancer runs in the family.β
Then someone in a family with no known history develops cancer.
And suddenly you realise somethingβ¦
LIFE DOES NOT COME WITH A FORMULA.
Risk factors are real. Lifestyle matters. Genetics matter. Environment matters. Sometimes there are clear explanations, and sometimes medicine itself cannot immediately explain why something happened to one person and not another.
So be careful when you look at somebody else's life and say,
βThat happened because they did this.β
Sometimes life is simply more complicated than the explanations we were given.
Eat well. Take care of yourself. Go for check-ups. Listen to your body. Make responsible choices.
But don't ever think you have completely figured life out.
There are things we understand.
There are things we are still learning.
And there are things we may never fully understand.
Life has no formula. π―οΈ

I am going to keep saying this because knowledge is protection.
1. IF YOU STARTED THWASA AND DID NOT FINISH, DO NOT JUST WALK AWAY.
If you entered initiation school and, for whatever reason, did not complete the process, seek proper traditional guidance about how to close that chapter and acknowledge your ancestors. In our traditions, unfinished spiritual processes are not something to treat casually.
2. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DREAMS LIGHTLY.
Not every dream is a message, but not every dream is βjust a dreamβ either. Learn to distinguish ordinary dreams, emotional processing, and experiences that hold cultural or personal significance. Write them down. Ask questions. Pay attention.
3. IF YOU ARE TOLD YOU HAVE A GIFT β RESEARCH YOUR BLOODLINE.
Please do not immediately collect every spiritual identity that somebody places on you. Learn your family history. Speak to elders. Find out what has existed in your lineage before you. Sometimes people carry practices, beliefs and spiritual responsibilities that they do not understand β and confusion can become its own burden. Or you go collect spirits that you not aware of.
4. LEARN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN ANGRY ANCESTOR AND A CALLING.
These are not automatically the same thing. Sometimes people interpret every difficulty, dream, conflict or strange experience as a βcalling.β Other times, unresolved family matters may be interpreted as something else entirely. Do not diagnose yourself spiritually. Ask questions. Seek wisdom.
5. BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT IS PUT INTO YOUR BODY.
Especially when substances are introduced through cuts or a razor. Traditional medicine has a place in many cultures, but your body and blood are not something to experiment with blindly. Ask what is being used, why it is being used, and whether it is safe.
6. MARRIAGE IS MORE THAN TWO PEOPLE SAYING βI DO.β
When families marry traditionally, there are cultural processes that acknowledge both families and their ancestors. Where appropriate to your tradition, learn what is expected on both sides β the groom's family and the bride's family. Do not enter marriage knowing only one family's customs.
Marriage joins families, histories, names, responsibilities and traditions. Learn what you are joining. It's also very important that you are protected in marriage because some families have curses that can affect you too.
7. DO NOT DISRESPECT SPIRITUAL PRACTICES SIMPLY BECAUSE LIFE IS NOT GOING YOUR WAY.
Frustration can make people angry at everything β ancestors, God, prayer, rituals, family and themselves. But disappointment does not mean you should become disrespectful. Ask questions before you reject what you do not understand.
8. BE CAREFUL WITH SURNAMES THAT ARE NOT YOURS.
A surname is not merely something you type at the bottom of a form. In many African traditions, names carry lineage, family history and belonging. Know whose name you are carrying, why you are carrying it, and what that connection means culturally.
9. IF THERE WAS UNRESOLVED PAIN WITH SOMEONE WHO PASSED AWAY, SEEK A WAY TO MAKE PEACE.
If you carry guilt, anger, resentment or words you never got to say, do not bury those emotions with the person. Pray. Go apologize ..Follow your family's appropriate mourning or reconciliation practices. Sometimes the apology is also about freeing the living heart from what it has been carrying.
10. WHEN DEATH HAPPENS IN A HOME, DO NOT FORGET THE HOME.
Death changes a household emotionally, physically and culturally. Different families have different mourning and cleansing traditions. Very important to cleanse the home. It can course a curse in the house.
Do not allow fear to make every experience spiritual.
Do not allow ignorance to make every spiritual experience meaningless either.
Our traditions deserve knowledge, not blind obedience.
Our ancestors deserve respect, not fear.
Our children deserve wisdom, not confusion.
And our lives deserve questions before rituals.
DID YOU KNOW?
After Sarah passed on, Abraham married another woman called Keturah, and they had children together (Genesis 25). But something very striking stands out β those children never became part of the covenant story the way Isaac did.
Why?
Because God had already established a covenant with Abraham through Sarah. That covenant was not random, and it was not transferable based on effort, desire, or even results. It was ordained by God Himself.
This reveals something deep and powerful:
God is a God of covenants.
There are things in your life that will only be sustained by the covenant that birthed them.
You can have many opportunities, many connections, even many results β but only what is tied to your covenant with God carries divine backing, preservation, and generational impact.
Let me break it down for you:
If you rose through prayers β it is prayers that will sustain you.
If you rose through giving β it is giving that will sustain you.
If you rose through consecration β it is consecration that will keep you.
The mistake many people make is this:
They see someone sustained by a certain grace and they try to copy the method without understanding the covenant behind it.
You cannot copy covenants.
What works for one man may not work for another β not because God is partial, but because covenants are personal.
Isaac didnβt struggle to become the child of promise β he aligned with what God had already spoken.
Listen carefully:
Your sustainability in life is tied to your alignment with your covenant.
Some people abandon the very thing that lifted them.
God helped you when you were fasting and praying, now you are too busy to pray.
God raised you when you were committed to giving, now you feel like youβve βarrived.β
God preserved you when you were humble and yielded, now pride has taken over.
And youβre wondering why things are shakingβ¦
Itβs because you have stepped outside the covenant that was carrying you.
Donβt do that.
Go back to your altar.
Go back to your place of encounter.
Go back to the voice that started your journey.
Stop trying to live another manβs spiritual life.
Find your own covenant with God.
Walk in it.
Guard it.
Stay consistent in it.
Because at the end of the day,
It is not activity that sustains a manβ¦
It is covenant.
HOW TO PRAY USING SCRIPTURES
Praying using scriptures is the perfect way to know you are praying the will of God. When you don't know how to pray, open the Bible and use the scriptures. Let your prayer requests be accompanied with scriptures. You can write them down before you enter the place of prayer and use them.
Many believers struggle in prayer because they think prayer is about finding the right words. But prayer is not about impressive words; it is about agreement with God's Word. The Bible says in Isaiah 55:11 that God's Word will not return to Him void. When you pray scriptures, you are reminding yourself of God's promises and standing on what He has already said concerning your life.
Praying scriptures strengthens your faith because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Instead of praying based on your feelings, fears, or circumstances, you begin to pray based on God's truth. Circumstances may change, but God's Word remains forever.
For example, if you need wisdom, don't simply say, "Lord, give me wisdom." Take the scripture and pray it:
"Father, Your Word says in James 1:5 that if anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives generously without finding fault. Lord, I ask for wisdom concerning this situation. Guide my decisions and direct my steps in Jesus' name."
If you are praying for provision, use Philippians 4:19:
"Father, Your Word says that You shall supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I stand upon this promise today. I declare that every need in my life shall be met according to Your Word."
If you are battling fear, use Isaiah 41:10:
"Lord, You said I should not fear because You are with me. You said You will strengthen me, help me, and uphold me with Your righteous right hand. Today I reject fear and embrace Your peace."
If you need healing, pray with Isaiah 53:5:
"Father, Your Word says that by His stripes we are healed. I receive healing over my body. Let every sickness, pain, and affliction leave in the name of Jesus."
If you desire protection, use Psalm 91:
"Lord, Your Word says that He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Protect me and my family from every evil attack, danger, and accident."
If you are trusting God for direction, pray Proverbs 3:5-6:
"Father, I choose to trust in You with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding. As I acknowledge You in all my ways, direct my paths according to Your promise."
If you need strength during difficult times, pray Isaiah 40:31:
"Lord, Your Word says those who wait upon You shall renew their strength. Renew my strength today. Help me to run and not grow weary, to walk and not faint."
Even when praying for your children, marriage, ministry, business, or future, find scriptures that relate to those areas and turn them into prayer points. The more you pray God's Word, the more confidence you have in prayer because you know you are praying according to His will.
A practical way to do this is to keep a prayer journal. Divide it into categories such as healing, protection, finances, family, spiritual growth, favor, and breakthrough. Under each category, write relevant scriptures. Whenever you pray, read the scripture first and then turn it into a personal prayer.
Jesus Himself used scripture. The apostles used scripture. The early church stood upon scripture. God's Word is the foundation of effective prayer.
The next time you enter your prayer closet and don't know what to say, don't be discouraged. Open your Bible. Read a promise. Speak it back to God. Pray His Word. Declare His Word. Stand upon His Word.
Remember, prayers based on God's Word carry confidence because they are rooted in God's promises. When you pray scriptures, you are not merely expressing your desires; you are agreeing with what God has already spoken.
Pray the Word, believe the Word, and watch God fulfill His Word in your life.

1. Bridge Pose
Before you sleep, I declare these Scriptures over your life:
Psalm 4:8 β You will lie down and sleep in peace, for the Lord alone makes you dwell in safety.
Psalm 91:10 β No harm will overtake you; no disaster will come near your tent.
Isaiah 54:17 β No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
Psalm 23:6 β Surely goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life, and you will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Deuteronomy 28:6 β You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
Numbers 6:24β26 β The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.
Philippians 4:19 β Your God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.
Jeremiah 29:11 β The Lord has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Tonight, may you sleep without fear. May the Lord guard your going out and your coming in. May He silence every voice speaking against His purpose for your life.
You will wake up with new strength, new grace and fresh hope.
You are kept by God. You are covered by God. You are not forgotten by God.
In Jesusβ mighty name, Amen. ππ½
