Girls ended their historic season today at the Pontiac Sectional. Ginny Kvasnicka’s 93, Ava Fundukian’s 105, Olivia Bukowski’s 111, and Camryn Haines is 121. These girls were conference and regional champions for the first time in school history. Cannot wait to see for next year.

Our boys team today competed at regionals. Facing tough competition we had two individuals move on to sectionals. Landon Bukowski shooting a 83 and Ty Carlile shooting an 87 and then winning a playoff with a birdie. Congrats to the boys overall and good luck at sectionals Monday.

REGIONALS CHAMPS

In only our second season, Manteno girls are regional champions. Shooting a 405 defeating 10 other schools. Led by Ginny Kvasnicka’s 93, 6th overall, Ava Fundukian’s 101, 9th overall, Olivia Bukowski’s 105, and Camryn Haines and Sophie Peterson’s 106. Congratulations girls.

Boys won the Watseka Invite tonight defeating 7 teams shooting a 182.
Landon Bukowski won overall with a 42, Ty Carlile got 4th with a 44, Nate Kisala tied 5th with a 46, and Kyle Hupe got 11th with a 50. Congrats boys time to do well in regionals.

For the first time ever our Girls Team is ICE Conference champions shooting a 389. Led by Ginny Kvasnicka’s 93 (2nd overall), Ava Fundukian’s 94, Olivia Bukowski’s 99, and Sophie Peterson’s 103.
Those four girls were also all-conference. Congratulations.

Boys competed in the Grant Park Invite getting 5th out of 12 teams with a 374. Led by Landon Bukowski’s 87, Ty Carlile’s 89, Nate Kisala’s 92, and Carson Russert’s 106.
Landon placed 9th overall.

Boys and Girls have the ICE conference tournament Monday, let’s keep it up.

Manteno girls split a tri-meet against BBCHS (211) and Homewood Flossmoor (223) shooting 214. Led by Sophie Peterson’s 52, Camryn Haines’ 53, Olivia Bukowski’s 54, and Ginny Kvasnicka/Ava Fundukian’s 55. Girls finish the regular season 7-8.

Boys golf tonight defeated Lisle 173 to 200. Led by Landon Bukowski‘s 37, Ty Carlile’s 44, Nate Kisala’s 45, and Kyle Hupe’s 47.
Boys finish the regular season 8-6. Now onto to tournaments and postseason.

Also shout out to our two boys seniors, Ty Carlile and Mason Doyal.

Girls defeated Lisle 211 to 280, a record low score for the girls team. Led by Camryn Haines 51, Sophie Peterson’s 52, and Olivia Bukowski and Ginny Kvasnica’s 54. Girls move to 6-7 on the season.

Boys won a close match vs St. Anne tonight 178-180. Led by Landon Bukowski’s 42, Kyle Hupe’s 44, and Ty Carlile and Nate Kisala’s 46. Boys move to 7-6.

Senior night is tomorrow night. Come out to support your seniors at Aspen Ridge.

Girls defeated St. Anne (237) and Wilmington (287) shooting 223. Led by Ginny Kvasnicka’s 51, Olivia Bukowski’s 54, Camryn Haines 55 and Sophie Peterson’s 63. Girls move to 5-7 on the year.

Girls competed today in the BBCHS Invite that was shortened due to rain. Congrats to Olivia Bukowski and Ginny Kvasnicka for being a medalist in the tournament. Great job girls.

Panthers picked up a big conference win vs Peotone 178-191. Led by Landon Bukowski’s 39, Ty Carlile’s 42, Nate Kisala’s 48, and Carson Russert’s 49. Boys move to 6-6 and 3-2 in conference.

Girls competed tonight in a quad meet shooting 221 with Watseka (212), Iroquois West (201), and Prairie Central (218). Led by Olivia Bukowski’s 51, Camryn Haines 56, and Ginny Kvasnicka and Maddy Hoger’s 57. Girls move to 3-7.

Manteno defeated Reed Custer 171-207. Led by juniors Landon Bukowski and Carson Russert’s 42, Nate Kisala’s 43, and Kyle Hupe’s 44. Boys move to 5-6.

JV also won 220-226. Led by Peyton Swinford’s 50, Gavin Woods 56, and David Horath /Declan Prendergast / Journey Withrow 57.

Boys split a Tri-Meet shooting a 198 vs BBCHS (162) and Reed Custer (219). Led by Landon Bukowski’s 44, Nate Kisala’s 47, Kyle Hupe’s 53, and Liam Jedlicka’s 54. Boys move to 4-6.

Boys lost tonight 202-184 to Coal City. Led by Landon Bukowski’s 44, Ty Carlile’s 49, Kyle Hupe’s 53, and Nate Kisala’s 56. We fall to 3-5.
Our goal for the rest of the season is to not become too mental. As a young team we need to have fun and improve one shot at a time.
