The company I work for just gave me a brand new 16” M5 Max MacBook Pro, with 64gb RAM, maxed GPU, 2tb SSD : but I have to only use it for ‘work’ 😭😭😭😭😭
Only video/ animation shit, no Ableton 😩
@azellamusic Zooming out, remembering that 99.9% of people who have ever existed never knew or will know the feeling of being on stage, recalling all the best moments, and being grateful for the memories is something I have found to be very helpful. For whatever my unsolicited take is worth
Most of ya'll are probably too young to know about Massive, but I can't recommend it enough. It's an old dog, but can still show you new tricks. This is all from one patch, on one channel lmao
I’m benching 225 for the first time in my life, squatting 255, weighing a thicc 210 pounds. I’m literally the strongest I’ve ever been physically, and I’m grateful to be here. 😤
btw, my opinions are based in having gone balls to the wall for every set, regardless of where i was / playing with. It was one of the things that helped us break out of the southeast in terms of touring. I always got MORE hyped to give a set my all if the person before me crushed it
also, no fault implied : ppl want to play shit that sounds massive on a good system. TBH I feel like the whole 'read / warm up the room' mechanic is less relevant now. Imagine being a bedroom dj, watching a bunch of videos of djs you respect playing crazy shit, crowd going crazy, why would you not want to emulate that? Ya know?
