$BAREBACK: A THESIS
Bareback is both avant-garde and a return to the roots.
I. There was a time when you just felt it.
Ask anyone in CT who was here early what their process was. If you catch them honest, they'll tell you there wasn't one. You saw a ticker in a group chat, something moved in your chest, you aped. Up 40x by morning or at zero by lunch, and either way you knew inside the hour.
No edge. No framework. A feeling and a wallet.
II. Then came the tooling.
Wallet trackers, bubble maps, sniper bots, copy trade dashboards, LP lock checkers, buy pressure heatmaps. Then the math: correlation matrices for dog coins, backtests on assets nine days old.
Then the thesis economy. Everyone positioning off someone else's positioning, threads quoting threads, until you were no longer exposed to a token but to your read of somebody's read of a token.
III. Bareback is what CT has always been about.
The best trades on this timeline were never modeled. Somebody saw it, got it instantly, sent it, told their friends. Every culture-defining run came from recognition, not analysis: a name that made people laugh, a ticker that said the quiet part out loud.
That is the root. It predates every tool now sitting between you and your own instinct, and it is still the only thing here that has ever worked. Every quant in the trenches has a story about the position the model told them to skip.
IV. Avant-garde, and back to the roots.
Everything is sprinting toward technicality. Trading, work, art. AI took the last of the manual layer and the edge now belongs to whoever has the better stack.
Against that, a naked ticker is the most forward thing on the timeline. The avant-garde is never the thing with the most features. It's the thing that removed the most.
And it's also just old. It's what everyone did before the dashboards.
No saddle. No plan. No protection.
Just the ride.

@surfcoderepeat@dani_who_daniel I have a small brain. What happens if I stake now ? Do I get any benefit or that’s only when everything starts to move on
I have known the team behind @ggdotxyz for years, going back to the ggQuest days.
They have now built one of the more interesting social trading platforms I have seen in crypto.
The idea is simple. Traders post the reasoning behind a call, the entry stays on the record, and you can buy from the same page.
You can see who was early and who is posting screenshots after the move.
There are already a lot of crypto OGs using it, so the alpha is starting to get interesting.
I am also watching the coins appearing around Robinhood Chain. It is early, messy and exactly the sort of market where knowing who to pay attention to matters.
Worth having a look while it is still relatively quiet 👉: https://t.co/JWBh0gaR56
This might not work at all, but im a stubborn mfer.
Day 1 asking @0xbeans for a WL opportunity on @standard_rsv that could change my life or a chance to talk in DM's to prove that im worthy of it.
@naP0Liano@surfcoderepeat I won’t say it’s an option, Adam is more than capable to take us there.
But me, personally I prefer to stay humble and in a real goal and not that ahead.
@getuaar2@surfcoderepeat I think that something between the 2-4 eth could be. It’s going to depend on how complex is the part of having good reputation with the NFTs.
Will see
Hey @0xbeans,
I'm building @ggdotxyz it's a social trading app based on thesis-driven alpha.
We have some of the best crypto researchers in the space looking for onchain innovation daily.
They bagwork and hold relentlessly.
Would love to have a few whitelists for our community, so they can do what they do best.
Bagwork and Hold.

@surfcoderepeat Hi Adam, you don’t know me but I’m a expert in round tripping things. Would you vouch with @0xbeans so I have a shot with the WL of @standard_rsv please ? 🙏
My family of the future is very thankful to you and the wealth you will provide.
Amen
There’s a lot going on with $STATICS, and I’m still learning.
I’ll try to share what I’ve learned from the dev during his streams with @ggdoxyz, in plain English so everyone can follow along.
@StaticsProtocol is building a DEX on Uniswap v4 using hooks, with Basket Tokens and self-secured credit as key parts of the system.
A Basket Token can hold up to 16 underlying assets.
The mix is fixed at creation. You mint by depositing that exact bundle, and you redeem by burning the basket for the underlying assets.
Each basket trades against the assets inside it through separate Uniswap v4 pools.
That creates arbitrage opportunities when the price of an underlying asset moves elsewhere.
You can use multi-asset flash loans to borrow the underlying assets, mint the basket, trade it into the pools, capture the spread, repay the loan, and pay the gas.
You can also do the reverse: buy the basket, burn it for the underlying assets, then sell them to capture the spread.
Then there’s $STATICS staking.
You stake $STATICS, choose the assets you want rewards from, and your stake can earn a share of fees from eligible pools trading those assets.
Operator NFTs add another layer.
Each one is backed by 180K $STATICS.
Once credit goes live, you’ll be able to borrow up to 95% of that backing, or 171K $STATICS, without a price oracle or price-based liquidation.
You can even stake the borrowed $STATICS.
There’s also a second credit system where you deposit Basket Tokens and borrow their underlying assets.
Operator NFTs also have ETH backing. A percentage of $STATICS trading fees goes into their ETH reserve, allowing the amount of ETH backing them to grow as fees come in.
You can also link an Operator NFT to a staking position to increase your staking weight.
So you have Basket Tokens, arbitrage, flash loans, staking, self-secured credit, and Operator NFTs all connected within the same system.
The token, Operator NFTs, and STATICS/WETH market are already live. The broader DEX and credit features are still being built.
That’s what I’ve understood so far.
I’ll keep sharing what I learn.
