In yet another gesture of extending helping hand to #Kerala, PM @narendramodi ji’s Govt offers assistance for Rs 200 Cr project under the Urban Flood Mitigation Programme for #Thiruvananthapuram.

The @pinarayivijayan government must now act - by submitting a proposal for Thiruvananthapuram. The deadline for this proposal is the end of May’24.

This programme aims to solve the problem of floods caused by heavy rains, which wreak havoc for the people of Thiruvananthapuram.

തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ പ്രളയ ദുരിത നിവാരണ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്കായി 200 കോടി രൂപയുടെ കർമ്മപദ്ധതി കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ കേരളത്തിന് ഉറപ്പാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. മഴക്കെടുതികളും വെള്ളക്കെട്ടും മൂലം തലസ്ഥാന നിവാസികൾ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുന്ന ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകൾ പരിഹരിക്കുന്നതിന് പര്യാപ്തമായ ക്രിയാത്മക നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങൾ മുന്നോട്ടു വച്ചു കൊണ്ട്‌ സംസ്ഥാനം ഭരിക്കുന്ന പിണറായി വിജയൻ സർക്കാരാണ് ഇതിന്മേൽ വേണ്ട നടപടികൾ ഇനിയും കൈക്കൊള്ളേണ്ടത് . 2024 മെയ് അവസാനത്തോടെ പ്രസ്തുത നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങൾ കേന്ദ്രത്തിന് സമർപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതാണെന്ന് ഞാൻ സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാരിനെ വീണ്ടും ഓർമ്മപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് മേൽ നാശം വിതച്ച് പെയ്യുന്ന കനത്ത മഴയെത്തുടർന്നുണ്ടാകുന്ന വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കത്തിൻ്റെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ പരിഹരിക്കുകയാണ് ഈ കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ പദ്ധതിയുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം.

NDA team submitted its complaint to the District Collector, Shri. Geromic George IAS, regarding the shocking discovery of 40,000 duplicate voters in the #Thiruvananthapuram constituency.

The team was led by BJP District President and NDA Thiruvananthapuram Convenor Shri. @VVRajeshBJP, BJP National Executive Member PK Krishnadas, and BJP State Committee Member Shri. @AnoopKaippalli.

NDA has also filed its complaint with the Election Commission. I hereby appeal to the concerned authorities to take all necessary steps to ensure a transparent election.

During my visit to Kerala yesterday I had the opportunity to meet Sriman Narayanan Ji, whom I had mentioned in one of the #MannKiBaat programmes. Hailing from Ernakulam, he has done exceptional work in ensuring animals and birds don’t remain thirsty during the peak summer season. He distributed several earthen pots over the years.

At Guruvayur, I received a Bhagwan Shri Krishna painting from Jasna Salim Ji. Her journey in Krishna Bhakti is a testament to the transformative power of devotion. She has been offering paintings of Bhagwan Shri Krishna at Guruvayur for years, including on key festivals.
