Each State Should Get ₦250bn From NLNG Dividends, But Tinubu Has Cornered It, Saying He Would Pay After 2027 Elections — Seyi Makinde https://t.co/ALAGK9vPYy
“We are being economically devastated and massacred daily in the North, yet President Tinubu has neither visited us nor sent his condolences. Therefore, nobody should dare come to our mosque to seek our support.”
— Sheikh Mansur Sokoto
I have said this several times. It doesn't matter which political party you belong to; the mere fact that our political class, from the FG down to the LG, hasn't shown an inch of restraint in the way they live lavishly makes a mess of their telling Nigerians to endure. A typical Nigerian governor with less than a $1 billion annual budget cannot be living more lavishly than a US governor with a $200 billion annual budget, yet you still want ordinary Nigerians to endure and make sacrifices. It makes no sense.
“If Tinubu himself said Nigerians should not vote for him if he failed to fix electricity, why should anyone ignore that promise now?” Sheikh Sunusi Khalil challenges Tinubu’s campaigners.
It's as simple as ABC. If you are doing well, meaning your country is productive and your people have high purchasing power, other countries will respect you. But if the wealth resides with only a few, no one gives a damn about you or your country. Obi couldn't have put it better.
“He betrayed all of them and ran to the North to join Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to become his Vice President… That was the beginning of the destruction of the PDP.” — Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei
Ochei calls out former Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa over his decision to accept the PDP vice-presidential ticket in 2023. Ochei points to the historic Asaba Accord, where 17 Southern governors had agreed that power must return to the South, accusing Okowa of abandoning that consensus to run alongside Atiku Abubakar, a move Ochei claims ultimately fractured and crippled the PDP.

“Take a census of just 10 Nigerians… "How many of them will vote the APC?"... It will shock you that 11 out of 10 will say to you, 'Never!'” — Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei
Ochei evaluates the APC’s performance and campaign strategy. He argues that political leaders must demonstrate empathy and lead by example rather than living in affluence while citizens endure economic hardship. Ochei claims that public dissatisfaction with the current economic climate will speak volumes at the polls.

So Osinbanjo is a religious and ethnic bigot.
Not even his education could save him.
I’m glad he was embarrassed out by Tinubu.
Shame on you @ProfOsinbajo
Nigeria belongs to all not those from your church and ethnicity.

ARISE NEWS STANDS BY OUR REPORT ON INEC REGISTER IN LAGOS
On Thursday, What's Trending with Ojy Okpe reported that the INEC Preliminary Register of Voters was not openly displayed for public scrutiny at several registration areas across Alimosho and Shomolu in Lagos as required by Section 19 of the Electoral Act.
INEC Lagos State issued a press statement categorically denying our report. We take note and we respect the commission's right to respond, but we stand by our report.
Here is what our independent on-ground verification found:
📍 The INEC portal on Wednesday October 14th displayed this message:
"There are currently no preliminary registers to display"
📍 At registration areas in Alimosho including Abati Primary School the register was only available on request between 9AM and 3PM
📍 At Gbagada Grammar School, Pedro Primary School In Shomolu and St George's Primary School in Ikoyi officials only consulted the register for individual name checks not open public scrutiny.
Every Nigerian deserves full and open access to the voters' register not access by request access by right!
Arise News remains committed to responsible accurate and independent journalism. Always.

Shettima spent the entire time allocated to him talking about Peter Obi, without mentioning one thing they did for Nigerians in the last 3–4 yrs.
This continues to prove who won Nigeria 2023 election.
Nigerians rise up because their time is up, if it didn't dey, it didn't dey.
“Nigerians are angry today. The only way out is to vote for Mr Peter Obi and my humble self as the only solution.”
— Rabiu Kwankwaso, live on Channels TV.
Nigerians are tired of hardship and broken promises. The country needs a new direction, leadership that puts the people first, and a future built on competence, accountability, and hope.
