At 19:12:59 UTC, the GenesisL1 community validator multisig deployed 2,000,000 community-owned L1, bridged as wL1, into a single-sided concentrated-liquidity position against USDC on Uniswap V3 on Base.
On-chain activity began immediately.
Just 46 seconds after the position was minted, a single swap moved 337,560 wL1 out of the pool.
At a 19:45:47 UTC snapshot—less than 33 minutes after deployment—the pool held approximately 968,214 wL1.
More than half of the newly supplied wL1 had moved out of the pool on a net basis: approximately 1.032 million wL1, or 51.59%.
This is a timestamped on-chain snapshot—not a price claim, valuation or forecast. Pool balances and composition change continuously.

GenesisL1 has produced blocks since November 2021. It is a live, public and decentralized Layer‑1 network built to make scientific data, machine-learning models, computation, digital rights and protected knowledge verifiable and programmable within one shared environment.
The working stack already includes:

The network’s molecular layer represents more than 733,919 structures, including approximately 229,000 complete Protein Data Bank entries and roughly 50 GB held fully in replicated chain state.
L1 is the network’s native coin. It secures consensus, prices computation and storage, pays for execution, helps protect the ledger against indiscriminate state growth and enables community governance—allowing GenesisL1 to operate as independent infrastructure rather than depending on another blockchain.

Today marks a milestone for GenesisL1 — the launch of a fully decentralized, non-custodial bridge connecting GenesisL1 to Base. No gatekeepers. No custodian. No single point of failure.
This is what a bridge should be. Every cross-chain transfer is validated and signed by a federation of independent GenesisL1 community validators — operating voluntarily, around the world. Delivery requires their collective agreement, enforced by a validator multisig on both chains. Security comes from the many, not the few.
And it's non-custodial, end to end. No operator ever takes custody of your funds. Validators and relayers run neutral, automated infrastructure — they secure the route, they don't hold your assets. The contracts are open source, and every claim is verifiable on-chain. Trust is replaced by proof.
Decentralization here isn't a tagline — it's the architecture. Governance of the validator set is controlled by a community multisig, not a company. Anyone can read the code, run a validator, and verify the security model for themselves.

Smart accounts and account abstraction are now native on GenesisL1. EOAs can behave more like contracts — enabling batched transactions, sponsored gas flows, programmable wallets and better user experiences.

ibc-go moved from v7 → v10.
Modern IBC, callbacks, stronger relayer events and Interchain Accounts support bring GenesisL1 deeper into the interchain. With ICA host capabilities, other Cosmos chains can drive accounts on GenesisL1.
GenesisL1 is not building an island.
