Long story short: eBay is holding $18,000 from a watch I sold.

I’ve been an eBay user since 2017. Last year, I purchased Mattel toys to resell, but unfortunately, Mattel couldn’t fulfill my order. As a result, my rating took a hit, and eBay refunded all affected buyers.

A few months ago, I opened a new account and successfully sold a watch. However, after the sale, eBay restricted my account. I acknowledge that opening a new account was against their policy—I wasn’t aware at the time. I’ve since apologized, and I owe eBay nothing.

It has now been 60 days, and eBay still hasn’t released my money. Is this even legal?

Any advice or help in getting eBay to do the right thing would mean a lot!

Today a very nice agent Aldo reinstated my account, and 19 minutes later they locked it again. I just want my money paid.

Cut bloated executive pay (yes, including the CEO) and tie compensation to real profitability, not headlines. Focus on what actually makes money: Premium formats (IMAX, Dolby), High-margin concessions, etc
