I have just completed 52 years and entered the 53rd year of my life.

In the words of my spiritual master, I have moved one year closer to death. Time is passing, and my journey towards Buddha-hood continues unabated.

My spiritual master had permitted me to enter politics with a mission — to spiritualise the political domain. Politics, in its truest sense, should not become a means merely for accumulation of wealth, power, or position. Those entering public life must derive their richness from within. Only such inwardly evolved individuals can truly help establish India as a VishwaGuru.

The day our Parliament and State Legislatures become populated with such awakened souls, India will once again guide the world — not towards external conquest, but towards reclaiming the real kingdom that lies within every human being.

Unfortunately, today many who hold positions of power appear deeply insecure. History teaches us that insecure and greedy leadership ultimately endangers not only institutions, but the lives and future of entire societies.

Let us therefore take a pledge — to free positions of power from people who are incompetent, insecure, greedy, and full of hatred, and replace them with people who are guided by wisdom, courage, compassion, and inner balance.

Else, doomsday may not be as far away as we imagine.

Glad to share an extremely good news:

After a considerably long ordeal of 12 long years, all accused including myself have been acquitted honourably in the famous Khirki case of the year 2014 which was lodged against me and 17 other residents of Khirki, Jahapanah and Hauzrani for the alleged acts against drug mafia and human traffickers belonging to Uganda and other South African Countries.

Honble Judge Ms Neha Mittal, Ld JFMC, Rouse Avenue Courts, while pronouncing the acquittal, said:

1. Statements under sec 164 are inadmissible.
2. Prosecution has failed to explain the delay in lodging the FIR.
3. Prosecution has failed to establish allegation of unlawful assembly.
4. Prosecution has failed to establish identity of the alleged victims.
5. Prosecution has failed to prove its case.

We have always maintained that this was a false and politically motivated prosecution. I am grateful that the Honble Court has upheld the rule of law.

I am deeply grateful to veteran criminal lawyer Shri S. P. Kaushal for the impeccable manner in which he conducted the trial. His clarity of thought, command over law, and unwavering commitment were truly exemplary.

I also thank Sri Rakesh Saini, Sri L S Saini, Md Nadeem Ahmad, Mr Umesh Burnwal, Mr Siddharth Gill, and other lawyer colleagues who appeared for other accused persons and did their best.

I am extremely thankful to 16 residents of my constituency who were made co-accused with me and they stood with me firmly like a rock.

I am very thankful to my family who always stood by me through thick and thin.

I am also thankful to my party especially my leader @ArvindKejriwal ji who never believed in the allegations and in fact when @_YogendraYadav ji and @pbhushan1 ji wanted me to resign because of these allegations then Arvind ji had said that for standing with people of his area, Somnath needs to be applauded and not punished. I vividly remember the way @SanjayAzadSln ji had supported me in the meeting and during the entire journey. I have no words to thank my leaders and my colleagues and volunteers in the party.

I am also thankful to people of my assembly constituency who never believed in the allegations and elected me twice after the alleged incident and rather with much bigger margins of 16000 and 18200 compared to the first time margin of 8000.

Hope print and electronic media gives the acquittal as much coverage as they gave during those days in condemning me, local residents and my party for something which should have been applauded.
