Frustrated with IOCL LPG booking service! With the best of my knowledge we Can't book a new cylinder until 25 days from previous booking date, but Indane gas is not taking booking till 25 days after PREVIOUS DELIVERY DATE.

Regarding increasing the upper age limit of Scientist C in CSIR from the existing 32 years to 35 years (which is exactly the demand of research scholars), the expert Committee constituted to review the RRs has recommended to increase the upper age limit to 35 years. The agenda has been prepared and going to be placed before the GB CSIR for approval in the next meeting of GB, CSIR.
That will address the concerns of the research scholars as submitted in their representation and make the age criteria uniform across all scientific dept/organizations.
Meanwhile, the feasibility of regularising the advertisements for recruitment accordingly is being worked out.

Non-Net PhD Scholars in India receive a mere Rs. 8,000/month since 2006, while, laborers earn more. Urgent action needed from @ugc_india @mamidala90 to revise this stagnant fellowship and empower meaningful research @EduMinOfIndia @IndianExpress @the_hindu

Several requests are pending so far,#NonNetFellowshipHike however, @ugc_india hasn't taken any concrete action. At least, the UGC higher authority should think about it. Non-Net fellows - how can they think towards innovative research if they are struggling for survivalship @mamidala90

We kindly request @ugc_india and @EduMinOfIndia to consider the NON-NET fellows, Pls don't not disappoint them. Hike their fellowship.8k is insufficient for survival in the current scenario.
