Scrabble at the Prospect in Douglas is now 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays at 3pm. I will tear myself away from watching the baby seagulls nesting on the neighbourโs dormer. BTW It made it back safely ๐๐ฆ
Seems all playing in the inaugural Manx Scrabble Championship have fallen in love with the Island. The Sefton Hotel staff have given everyone a warm Manx Welcome ๐๐ and the dinner was delicious. Thanks @visitisleofman and @iomsteampacket for helping it happen
Weโve had two cancellations for the Manx Scrabble Championship next weekend, so two late entries will be welcome. First inโฆ.

Please have all entries to the Manx tournament in before start of business tomorrow (UK time) at the latest. See https://t.co/pXCToeSm4x or https://t.co/qTPC3SSajW What a great excuse to visit a beautiful Island!
@MorrisLeigh@CalfObs @ManxAgriEnviro When we lived in a herring gullโs cliff (top floor flat) in Douglas, he/she used to hop to the window sill whenever the telly was on. Bad diet, too much screen time, what hope is there?
The not-so-serious C-Division at the Manx Championship needs more local players. There are still early bird "sur-prizes" up for grabs for the next 7 entries. You can find the entry form at https://t.co/R1RiF9TRPR. Please enter and help us give the visitors a warm Island welcome.
Wanted for poster: 100 quotes beginning with โ I play Scrabble becauseโฆโ e.g. โโฆ it satisfies my gambling instinctโ, โโฆ I meet like-minded/different peopleโ. Please reply & pass on๐ @NASPA@ukscrabble@CelineMcCart@scrabbleclub34@stephenfry@susie_dent
Please note, due to an English tournament and Easter, for the month of April only, Manx Scrabble will meet on the 2nd & 4th Mondays, instead of usual 1st, 3rd & 5th. Gilly is rubbing shoulders with Scrabble Great David of Dweebovision fame ๐ถ
Very sad to hear that Elliott Manley, the creator of https://t.co/H4ifAl9SK7 , has passed away. He provided so many hours of pleasure, achievement and frustration for so many. May his legacy live on.
So good to have new faces at the Prospect Hotel in Douglas (1st, 3rd and 5th Mondays of the month). All welcome at the Hub (Thie Rosien) in Port Erin today (2pm, 2nd and 4th Thursdays each month)
