Stop copying your competitors' pricing.

Their $2,000 plan hides their team cost, workload, revision volume and margin.

6 things your subscription agency shouldn't be doing manually:

1. Giving clients access after checkout
2. Reading every request just to assign it
3. Updating billing and the work queue separately
4. Chasing failed payments
5. Writing every status update
6. Guessing who has capacity

500+ video projects. 78+ clients. And a whole lot of moving parts behind the scenes.

Meet Mooncut, a video editing agency that's built quite the setup with ManyRequests.

From client requests and video reviews to billing, time tracking, and automated project assignments, they've connected their operations into one system.

They've even brought AI into the mix, using ManyRequests MCP + Claude to check project updates, catch pending replies, and generate daily reports.

The result? Hours saved every week, less manual admin, and a 4.9/5 average client rating.

Pretty impressive what a well-connected backend can do.

Big thanks to Nefertary and the Mooncut team for sharing how they run things!

You can now add discounts directly to invoices, see file comments update live, manage time approvals with fewer notification emails, and do more with time tracking through Zapier.

We’ve also made it easier for clients to update their own subscription cards, cleaned up guest checkout, and shipped a handful of quality-of-life improvements across the platform.

Small things individually.
Much nicer agency ops collectively.

We analyzed 103 productized agencies so you don’t have to open 103 tabs. 😮

And a few patterns showed up fast.

Only 5 explicitly promise “unlimited” work.
75 publish some kind of capacity limit.
And 84 offer paid add-ons.

Turns out, a good productized offer isn’t really about promising more. It’s about being very clear about what clients get, how much gets done, and what costs extra.

We’ve put the full research into our new Resources page, along with more free guides and playbooks for building and running a productized agency.

No email gate. No 47-step funnel. Just useful stuff.

More clients ≠ more profit.

Sometimes it just means more Slack messages and a suspicious amount of coffee.

A healthier agency comes down to the boring-but-important stuff: better pricing, recurring revenue, smarter operations, strong client management, and a team that isn’t running at 110% forever.

Get the foundations right, then grow.

And if your agency ops are currently held together by 6 different tools and good intentions, ManyRequests can help with that part.

Productizing your agency sounds simple on paper.

Package the service
Set the price
Sell it repeatedly
Scale 📈

Then the actual questions start:

Can every service be productized?
Should you offer unlimited requests?
What happens when a client drops a massive project into the queue?
And how do you price the whole thing without making your margins cry?

The good news: you don’t need to reinvent the agency model from scratch.

A strong productized service usually comes down to a few things: a clear offer, the right client, repeatable delivery, and a process that can handle growth without creating more chaos.

We put together 7 of the questions worth asking before you productize your agency, plus the lessons we’ve picked up from working with productized agencies every day.

Every agency has that one thing they pretend isn't a problem.

😅 "We'll organize the files later."
😅 "The client definitely sent that on Slack... right?"
😅 "I'll remember to invoice them tomorrow."

Fast forward a few months...

Tiny operational habits become expensive ones.

Profit doesn't usually disappear because of one huge mistake. It leaks out through unlimited revisions, messy onboarding, scattered communication, and founders becoming the approval department for... everything. 😬

The good news?

Most of these aren't hard to fix. Once your operations get out of the way, your team spends less time chasing work and more time doing it.

Swipe through and see if your agency has any of these "totally under control" moments. 👀

If a few slides felt a little too relatable, it might be time to give your operations an upgrade.

Freelancer: "Yeah, I know where that file is."
Agency owner: "Which version?" 😅

There's a funny moment almost every agency owner goes through.

You stop trusting your memory.

Not because you're getting older.

Because you now have:
- 23 active clients
- 147 requests
- 9 revision rounds
- 4 teammates asking where the latest logo is

One client replying to an email from... February.

Suddenly, "I'll remember it" becomes...

"Nope. Put it in the system."

That's the difference.

Freelancers often scale with hustle.

Agencies scale with systems.
- Templates
- Processes
- Automation

A client portal that keeps everyone on the same page.

Less "Wait... where did we save that?"

More "It's already in the portal."

If your agency still runs on memory, sticky notes, and crossed fingers, it might be time for an upgrade.

Every week, we ask ourselves one question:
"What would make running an agency just a little easier?"

Sometimes the answer is a brand new feature.

Sometimes it's removing one extra click, one unnecessary workaround, or one tiny frustration your team deals with every day.

This week's updates include:
• Billable and non-billable time tracking
• Client @mentions for account managers
• Review permissions
• Direct request URLs in CSV exports
• Faster request creation
• UI and chat improvements

None of these are headline-grabbing.

Together, they make running your agency a little smoother.

That's how we like to build.

Try these inside ManyRequests now https://t.co/tg1XOcfo8n

Agency burnout rarely happens overnight.

It's usually a slow slide.

One late night turns into a late week.
A packed calendar becomes the norm.
Client work starts feeling heavier than it used to.
Before you know it, you're wondering why running your agency doesn't feel as exciting anymore.

The tricky part is that most agency owners don't realize they're burning out until they're already deep in it.

That's why we put together these five stages. Not to diagnose your agency, but to help you spot the warning signs before they become expensive.

Because burnout doesn't just affect you.
It affects your team, your clients, and ultimately, your ability to grow.

The good news? Most burnout isn't caused by a lack of effort. It's caused by systems that rely on you for everything.

The better your operations, the less your agency depends on constant hustle.

Which stage have you experienced, or are you currently in? 👀

One of the advantages of building software specifically for agencies is that we get to obsess over the little things.

The clicks you shouldn't have to make.

The workflows that should happen automatically.

The reports that should just make sense.

That's what this week's updates are all about.

We've added smarter Zapier search actions, a new Mailchimp event for returning clients, more accurate time tracking, improved subscription management, and a collection of workflow enhancements across the platform.

None of these changes will completely transform your agency overnight.

But together, they make the day-to-day a little smoother. And that's exactly the kind of software we want to build.

Thanks to everyone who continues to share feedback. It genuinely shapes what we build next.

One of the most stressful emails to receive isn't:
"We don't like the design."

It's this:
"Just checking in... any updates?"

Because that email usually has nothing to do with the work itself.

It's about uncertainty.

Clients rarely judge an agency on creative output alone. They judge the entire experience.

Can they see what's happening?
- Can they trust deadlines?
- Can they find the latest file without digging through five email threads?
- Do they feel like they're working with a business that has its act together?

Ironically, great work can feel average if the process around it is messy.

On the flip side, an organized, transparent workflow makes every interaction feel more premium.

That's why the agencies with the happiest clients aren't always the most creative.

They're the ones that remove friction.
- Less chasing.
- Less confusion.
- More confidence.

Creative wins the project.
Operations keep the client.

If you're looking for ways to create a client experience people actually remember, swipe through the carousel.

And if your agency is still stitching together Slack, email, Drive, and spreadsheets, it might be time to see what running everything in one place feels like.

The less time you spend thinking about your operations, the better your systems are.

That's what this week's updates are all about.

This week, we shipped two improvements designed to make running your agency a little smoother:

✅ Tapfiliate integration
Run your affiliate program with more flexibility by tracking referrals through coupon codes, rewarding affiliates more accurately, and managing everything directly from your Integrations page.

✅ Smarter recurring add-ons
Recurring add-ons now behave the way you'd expect. When a subscription is cancelled, its recurring add-ons are cancelled too. During upgrades or downgrades, clients can choose to keep their current add-on or switch to one that better fits their new plan.

These aren't headline-grabbing features.

They're the kinds of improvements that quietly reduce manual work, prevent billing headaches, and make day-to-day operations easier.

That's what we're building at ManyRequests: software that helps growing agencies spend less time managing their backend and more time delivering great work.
