Is there any interesting mage/magic based video games that are pretty unheard of? I just want to shoot lightning, drown someone in fire, or something of the like.
Please help a struggling person that is distracted from doing actual work with this question.
People acting like Sparking Zero is a competitive fighting game. Bitch, it's Tenkaichi 4, it was never gonna be that.
Fix bugs, leave everyone the same, no buffs, no nerfs.
Rougelike games always have this run where you have a great build/weapon that makes you feel ready for endgame almost instantly.
Then you get bodied by the lamest thing possible. Literally a Skill Check. . .
@Mangalawyer So you showed someone shooting water and compared it to water moving the player?
Not to mention that Hydrophobia had an engine that took three years to make, that was made to focus on water.
Haven't played Outlaws, but played Hydrophobia, and this is an stilted comparison.
@RetroBlastUS I think the game is actually pretty mid. Controls are lackluster even after getting used to them. The graphics, which were limited to the time, effected certain levels making them cheap or not fun. Sound was good?
I don't really get the hype behind it.

My timeline had some idiot calling the WaveBird the first wireless controller.
Even if we are ignoring the picture, the Philips-CDI had one much earlier as well.
Even on the NES, you have the NES Satellite, an accessory that could make your controller "wireless."
