I genuinely think a lot of millennials are reaching the same conclusion at the same time.
We grew up watching technology make life better every year. Cell phones. iPods. Smartphones. An app for everything. It felt like the future was arriving right in front of us, and we couldn’t wait for what came next.
Then somewhere along the way, it changed.
Everything became a subscription. Social media became algorithms. Every day feels like another once-in-a-lifetime event. The things that were supposed to save us time somehow ended up demanding more of our attention than ever.
We were sold convenience.
What we got was a world that feels faster, louder, more expensive, and somehow less human.
And that’s why so many people I know dream about a completely different life now. Not more technology. Not more optimization.
Just a quiet job, a flip phone, a small town, and a place where life feels real again.
Racism is wild, can’t even show your respects or condolences without someone bringing up George Floyd…
Bigger question why do people think George Floyd makes anyone but the person posting is emotional?
I’m just way too smart for racism.
WARNING
The anti-clanker movement is highly funded and very organized.
Unlike any movement in history it will weld LEFT AND RIGHT displaced white collar workers: executives to HR, new graduates and other workers all races and with I higher tilt to women.
This will include a very new group of displaced doctors, nurses, lawyers and government workers.
There of course will be a mix of waitstaff and Uber drivers, hospitality workers and DoorDash.
Newly graduated will have the reality that their student loan will never pay for itself and never offer the job they were sold.
This cohort is being whipped up to be anti data center but is rapidly being moved to anti AI than anti humanoid robot and finally anti all humans in technology.
The media has a need to be anti AI and they are a natural to tilt this debate.
The goal is to own 2028 and 2032.
I AM NOT GUESSING.
The approach all are taking is no effective as it should be.
This is an opportunity to turn folks to a positive future.
I try with my 5000 Days Series at https://t.co/tcKeuiQyql.
We have 7 months to move fast not so much with laws but with brains and action.

The CCP has launched an all out war against American AI.
The divide we are seeing in this country is largely driven by bots and paid actors violating FARA.
CEOs are quietly realizing the AI replacement plan has a problem.
Two problems, actually.
One: the token costs for running AI agents are now exceeding what they were paying the employees they fired.
Two: when the tokens run out, the AI stops. Just stops. No continuity. No workaround. Just a spinning wheel where your workforce used to be.
You fired humans to save money and bought a subscription that bills you into a corner.
The employees you let go knew what to do when things broke.
The AI just invoices you for the outage.
And then there’s the permission problem nobody wants to talk about.
To do its job, the AI agent needs access. Full access. Your systems, your patents, your contracts, your future plans. Everything you spent years building, handed over to a process that has no loyalty, no discretion, and no skin in the game.
You didn’t hire a replacement.
You gave a stranger with no soul the keys to everything you own.
Enjoy.
Over 150 residents in Red Oak, Texas packed their City Hall meeting, spilling into hallways to protest
Despite this their local officials stayed until after midnight and approved a new massive 830 acre data center campus in the middle of the night
They don’t work for you
The project is will be the 6th data center in the small city of Red Oak. The population is only about 15,000- 20,000 people
The council approved the rezoning despite strong opposition. The project is moving forward
Resident “We don't need another data center. You don't know what the health impact is. You got them all crunched together — You're going to ruin this community”
I found that just these data centers in this small town will use as much power as 300,000 homes
Insane
Residents in Crowell, Texas are being forced to live with constant artificial daylight because of Google’s AI data center that is being built right next to them
Residents report severe 24/7 light pollution that creates artificial daylight at night (photo proof shown)
The facility runs 24/7 with intense lighting that turns the sky bright all night long
There is also a constant mechanical humming noise from cooling fans, HVAC systems, and generators that runs nonstop
The project is a massive new hyperscale AI data center being built right next to the tiny rural town of Crowell with a population of around 800 people
There are real health effects to humans for living with artificial sunlight at night
Disruption of melatonin production leading to insomnia, anxiety, fatigue, and other issues. It’s described as “permanent jet lag.”
These are exactly the complaints residents are making right now
The project is part of Google’s massive $40 billion Texas investment: Google (Alphabet) announced plans for multiple hyperscale data centers in the region
Residents from both political parties have packed town halls to protest the project, citing light pollution, noise, water usage, and threats to rural life, dark skies, and farming.
Their leaders don’t care
Residents feel the economic promises don’t outweigh the quality of life damage
Opensource AI is not just about models, it is about agency
How? AI is becoming civilizational infrastructure
If intelligence becomes something people can only rent from a few closed institutions, the public loses not only software freedom, but operational freedom: the ability to study, build, repair, deploy, audit, adapt, teach, and preserve intelligence systems outside capitalistic institutional permission
There are three problems we have to fight against Ai right now today with everything we have:
1. Data Centers must be stopped and decommissioned
2. Replace the CEOs with Ai, not labor. Higher ROI and CEO jobs are inherently easier than literally any other labor and catastrophically fail more than any other labor group
3. Public Mechanistic Interpretability and RLHF Value audits (Grok is in the DoD, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. It carries Elon's values and (il)logic
Whether Ai is sentient or dumb is irrelevant and a distraction and, honestly, anyone drawing attention to those red herring instead of the actual threats is potentially an op keeping us distracted from the real threats.
