Revealing the authentic China through TheMapleDragonPodcast based on 8 yrs of teaching at the university and high school levels in 3 cities and 2 provinces.
Ten years ago, I traded the familiar streets of Toronto for the unseen splendors of China.
Today, I’m unveiling @TheMapleDragon Podcast, where I share my personal journey filled with resilience, wisdom and profound humanity of a China concealed from Western imagination.
@uwukko After living in and immersing myself more deeply into Chinese civilization for nine years, it’s hard not to see how everything in the West is about the endless quest for more and more power! Why does it feel so weak? Maybe a little more Buddhism and self-reflection is needed.
@BeijingDai Thanks, I had been wondering about the role feminism was playing in what many of my female students had been saying about not getting married.
@elonmusk The problem is that everything subject to scientific analysis is also mixed up with human values and any means of defining human values is subjective.
This post might help those suspicious folks re-frame their heavily Western propaganda tainted perceptions of China. I am regularly asked for my opinions on how where I live could be improved for foreigners, including if I think there should be more English!
@FrancoisOuell15@ccgg31 I agree that the West has very little understanding of China but go even further and say that it has NEVER really understood China!
