@svershbow@offbeatorbit Driving was a necessity where I grew up. I got my license two weeks after I turned 16. My husband was a late bloomer and got his when he was 17 ๐. I have a friend who lives in the downtown core of Toronto and only 1 of her 4 kids has a license. No need in the city!
@svershbow We've had dogs in the past with great recall. Our current boy - who's now 17 1/2 - has never been off-leash. I never trusted him, even in our backyard. Should have named him Houdini.
@Chococake46 I feel for you! I couldnโt survive our humid, sweaty summers without it. Iโd melt. Try putting a cold, wet facecloth on the back of your neck and sit on front of a fan! Keep cool!
@marksandspencer@StevensCS1 Yeah, they wonโt answer that question. Iโm Canadian and we have the same shoplifting problems here too. I saw a group of young men steal about 20 bottles of booze in the liquor store and none of the staff did a thing.
@queenathenah The headache caused by having the same initials as my mother was insane. Because the credit bureau reports by initials and surname (not the first name!) and address, our credit became wound into one. It took them months to separate my credit reports from my mumโs.
@marybethxx6 Iโm copying you todayโฆ.Iโm making those beautiful mini pavlovas for a church tea on Friday afternoon. Thank you for the inspiration! ๐
