Spend a day in Detroit:
Four stops. One city, lets go.

Stop 1. Detroit Institute of Arts @DIADetroit
An absolute must, the DIA might be the coolest building in Detroit. You can easily spend the full morning here. There's a cafe inside where you can grab a coffee or get lunch.
Stop 2. Belle Isle
Theres lots to do and see on the island. We recommend starting at the Aquarium and the Conservatory. They’re right next to each other, and both are free. They do accept donations. I was amazed by how clean the aquarium tanks are.
Stop 3. Detroit Riverfront
Walking along the riverfront is a great way to see the river, the bridges, and the city. You can also rent a bicycle if you’re up for it. We rented our favorite, a tandem bicycle.
Stop 4. Tigers Game @tigers
I can’t think of a better way to wrap up the day than grabbing a hot dog and watching some baseball. If you haven’t been before, be ready to hear some Journey. Just a city boy... born and raised in south Detroit. It’s tradition. Also, if you go on a Friday, they do fireworks after the game.

This episode features Firenze Restaurant & Pizzeria in Warren, Ramsay’s second Michigan stop this season. Filming took place last summer and the restaurant closed down not long after.

We’re Mapping out Midtown and you know we had to start at @DIADetroit with over 65,000 pieces of art and history, you truly can get lost for hours exploring. The hallways and rooms are lined with paintings, portraits and pottery, there is nothing else like it in Detroit.

The world’s largest one-day automotive event rolls down Woodward Avenue. Tens of thousands of classic cars, nearly a million people, and a serious boost for local businesses up and down Woodward Ave. Cheeseburger in Caseville
August 14–23
Ten full days of Jimmy Buffett-inspired beach chaos on Saginaw Bay. Burgers on every corner, tropical music, the Parade of Fools, and a tiny town that turns into paradise for a couple weeks.
Michigan Renaissance Festival
Weekends August 22 – October 4 (plus Labor Day)
Knights, jousts, turkey legs, and full-on Renaissance vibes as Hollygrove opens for the season.
