@blankspotato A lot of concurrent reasoning that I see a lot of people say for these 3 that make a lot of sense to me when they pointed it out was like too much forced satire/comedy & forced plot armor reasoning
@KRRicRX What a weird end.
Not just for 3 but also to CODE Lord villain faction: 6 turned to goo (and an imprint on a wall), they exploded 5, and then made 3 paper.
Felt kinda weird they gave CODE to be the villain last boss feel but switched it back to Gores despite not much impression
@SoltheHedgehog@MonkeeyDLuuffyy@BlazeBinges To be fair that setup does happen with Leon's Charizard & Friede's Charizard
And I guess they wanted to give Charizard more hand-to-hand combat; if you think about it, Charizard's really only melee moves were Seismic Toss (and one-shot Steel Wing)
@SoltheHedgehog@MonkeeyDLuuffyy@BlazeBinges I mean Charizard only had Steel Wing for 1 battle against Brandon's Dusclops and that battle ended with him defeated.
At least Wing Attack was finally Ash's Charizard's 1st ever Flying type attack
@MonkeeyDLuuffyy@BlazeBinges I think it's because Charizard in Gen 5 could no longer have access to Seismic Toss anymore.
Moreover it's not like Charizard actually had a lot of melee moves; it was mainly Seismic Toss, and then Steel Wing but that's it.
At least like Pikachu they have matching tail strikes
